@@thebananaboater2339 The problem being it's another form of addiction. Quite an expensive one compared to drugs/alcohol even. If you are going to gamble play a game that doesn't have negative EV (expected value, the odds you will become profitable over a set # of games). Some games like Slots, and basically every game at a casino except Player to Player poker, has negative EV. Player to Player poker, being player to player, is the only game where the house doesn't have a crazy edge. (The house gets it's money from Rake usually). Blackjack, Sports Betting, Baccarat, Roulette, and some niche machines are technically possible to obtain a positive EV. However the Casino will quickly kick you out, or you won't be smart enough to obtain a positive EV. As it is really the 1% of the 1% of players that can be consistently profitable on such games. It's fine to gamble for fun, one shouldn't spend thousands if that is the case. That is mentally unhealthy and you can obtain brain chemicals for much cheaper and healthier ways.
