Does anyone else want them to make matching armor for Hansi? I would love to see Martina teaching him how to make his own style and then having those dramatic shots where they are fighting back-to-back. I think it would be cool to see him doing something we usually watch Martina do. I just really like when they are both in the videos cause they are the cutest couple ever!

Reminds me of how back in the eighties, Rusty Dawe (very well-known American costumer -- he and his wife Diane, plus their friends the Turners, won a lot of costuming awards at SF conventions, and later CostumeCons, back in the day) made Stormbringer, Elric's sword from Michael Moorcock's books. Similar, in that it only worked when he held it, but different. No LEDs, so IIRC he used fiber optics. No teensy power supplies, so he had the battery on him, camouflaged as part of his Elric costume. He ran wires down his arm to his gauntlet, which had metal contacts in the palm (disguised as studs in the leather or something, with the same design in the other gauntlet), and the sword's hilt was also metal. When he held the sword, that connected the sword to the battery, and when he waved it, the light effect rippled up and down the blade. But if he let someone else hold it, they couldn't make it work. Magic sword -- only works for Elric. :) Your daggers are massively awesome, and go really well with the costume!

I've been showing my 62 year old mother your videos and we are both in awe of how intelligent, creative, talented and amazing you both are. You're funny, stumble over words sometimes which I do pretty much all the time 😅 watching your videos feels like proudly watching old friends create beautiful art. Just wanted to leave this comment here. Big love Martina and Hansie we love your videos! 🕉️🤍

So crazy man, I move from the US where I watched Evan and Katelyn and now I live in Denmark where I just discovered Martina and Hansi 😸Y'all have so many similarities!! Of course you both have things that make your channel unique, and your own styles, but I can't stop noticing the similarities! Just two young maker power couples, that make awesome stuff, and that I'm super jealous of!!

So now it's just the waist holsters for the blades. And a staff holder for your back. With quick release for easy action. Then let the dungeons and masters conquest begin

Thank you for your enthusiasm, your creativity, your numerous talents🙏. I love all your creations, not only the ones about book bindings!

Ok, easily one of the coolest things you've made to date, and that is no small feat. So many skills, techniques, ideas, and effort went into this and I love it. And on top of that there was something about the way you filmed and edited this one that felt different and I really really really enjoyed it

I'm watching this now, two years later, after having followed a full jewellery making and goldsmithing course (with lost wax method!), and guys I have to say that I was amazed by how well you handled that being your first time! You also sanded that and polished that with the correct stuff, the same I use at the goldsmithing school, that was so good to see!

Man, incredible daggers! One thing that I thought of was maybe adding a capacitor in the circuit, so that the light would come on and off gradually, instead of straight on-off? Shouldn't be too difficult to add afterwards!
