Thanks Chuck! It was a challenge but rewarding at the end!
Kiptoe you are an absolute genius and a huge inspiration. I can't tell you how admirable it is to see someone get as frustrated as you were in the beginning and continue to finish what you started. The world would be a better place with more people like you. 🙏👍

It reminds me of how frustrated I was when I started painting. Or started sewing. Or started woodworking. But by the end of that first project, I would learn how to work it out and create something cool, and that feeling is what makes me go back for more projects and hone the craft even more.
the moment he overcome the pain... Also the process looks so smooth even the base diorama and the configuration of how the wood stacking are so well done. It's not like your first try tbh. Good job Kiptoe !

That was sick! Maybe more sculptures in the future?

thanks! maybe!
With that kind of clay you can warm it up, but not to much. Blow dryer works. Some tools you can put in a mug of warm/hot water so that it’s easier to sculpt certain things. Just some tricks.
You can put the clay a few seconds in the microwave and it gets softer for you to start that whole process without losing it's properties. Hands will thank you! (But leaving it there too long will turn it into somewhat of a cream)
“Tiger-style !!!!!” The sculpture is legendary. Might haveta take a look @ your catalogue…..💯🔥
Not surprised, you're paintings/murals have a 3D quality, well done!!
I've worked with both of these materials before and I can feel your pain. You did an awesome job! Would definitely love to see you make more sculptures, they'd be super sick!
Hell yeah, an LED adding some light in the spiral would be cool too!
That's sooo insanely cool! And at the same time that's my favorite painting of yours! 🌴🎭
Glad you hung on to finish it…..talent always comes through…you ROCK 😎
Bruh some of these comments aren’t even constructive per feedback, some are just so blatantly rude. Im proud of you kiptoe everyone starts somewhere and i think you did great man! I love your content, hopefully next time its going to be a 10/10 job!

Wow amazing 👍👍👍
This is awesome content man, even some youtubers with millions of subscribers don’t put in this much effort in a video. Really shows how much pride you take in your work 👏🏽
Awesome Kip! I think clay would have been a much easier material to work with

aw man, that sucks! Time to make more sculptures!
This is gorgeous!! 💖💖Is there anything you can't do?! Personally I've found Super Sculpey is not the easiest to work with at all (conditioning, and even upon bake being quite brittle) so I feel your pain. There are far easier polymer clays to work with- if I may suggest a couple- Sculpey Living Doll is a softer clay that is far more forgiving and is definitely easier to work with, but my favourite by far is Cosclay. It bakes to become flexible which is such a cool feature and gives a lot more durability. I use it all the time!

Dude, you did amazing for your first time sculpting! I too recently got into polymer clay and I love it. Badass brother, well done!
I love the realism in the hand sculpture. This has really turned out great. Nice one stay safe J.
This is the painting I saw in Koreatown and that's how I became a fan. Like imagine actually stopping and looking for the artist of a street painting online?? Lol
Amazing video, really good content and the way you edit all together is just great. Love the art, keep it up!
Thank you Kiptoe! It was so inspiring to see even an amazing artist struggle with the materials and process. I will reflect on this vid every time I want to trash my project and give up. Thanks for the transparency and the motivation! You're awesome man!

Sooo sick !
4:33 me, experienced polymer clay-ist, screaming "NOOOOOO WAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT". You could've salvaged it by adding more foil to the jaw/cheek area! Oh well. You know, as long as those little crumblies are still raw, you can re-use them. (And I like to mix partially cured crumblies for filler, but I'd say that's advanced)
Love your creativity! Your videos are so fun to watch!

Sculpy also has air dry clay that is easier to use for your next product. Much easier to condition and use than polymer clay.

ahhh I see, thanks for the tip!
Neat to see you trying something new
I don't understand why so many people make these videos where they try something for the first time only to be frustrated and annoyed by not checking how to do things first. I guess that is part of the content, but it's extremely frustrating, especially to other artists who spend a lot of time teaching how to do these things, but I guess only the famous person's content counts on youtube. I appreciate that you at least did look up how to do it/got a roller.
Welcome back dude . Great from Indonesia🇲🇨 #1

The way how you deal with most clays is to either water them or heat them up, so those become way more managable (thats what you basically did with the kneading - particle movement generates heat and a heated up material means it can be easier manipulated)
this was fun to watch thanks mate
wow congrat nice work Lord Kiptoe
That turned out awesome!

Apart from the actual sculpture, the whole video was brilliantly created. I like how every video introduces a new element of storytelling like tiger in this case. Really like the tiger poking his head out of the back of the car.

As someone who frequently gets bored and plays with polymer clay, can confirm that the pasta roller is 100% the best tool you can get for the job. Though I've never made anything larger than 2" in diameter lol, so it doesn't take quite so long to get the clay ready

You are freaken hilarious , And your art is amazing 👍
SO FREAKIN GREAT WOOORRK!!! 💖💖💖🎉🎉EVERYTHING FROM VIDEO, EL TIGRE TO THE BADASS STATUE
You poor guy! I’ve been working with sculpey for 13 years I feel aaaaaallll your pain!! But they have foam air dry sculpting material now for large projects like this! It’s light weight foam you don’t have to condition it. All your bulking can be done with it! Then detail with the sculpey overtop. Your sculpture looks amazing!! Please do more of these but please work less hard next time. Peace to you!
Awesome kudos kiptoe keep it up🫶❤️🔥🇵🇭
