This was such a relaxing and creative process to watch, loved how the paper flowers turned out and look forward to seeing them in context in Ziya’s birthday vlog!

You need an electric skillet and add glue sticks. Then you can dip your skewers into glue and into the styrofoam in one time. Put the lid on the skillet and it’s ready anytime! I put on low/medium heat when I do floral arrangements or wreaths. It’s a game changer!!

Also a cordless glue gun. Ryobi has a cordless one that will work with her ryobi batteries. I have one and I love it.

I used to be a party decorator and I always wanted to make these and just didn’t know where to start. I am honestly just in awe of everything you’ve created for your daughter’s parties throughout the years. I aspire to be a creative and dedicated parent like you!

I know she probably doesn’t realize it now but it’s cool that Ziya will have these videos to watch one day so she can see just how much effort you put into making all her events special.🫶🏾🫶🏾

You could drill angled holes in the stems to poke leaves in. Pre-bend the wire stems and/or use glue to hold them in place. The nice thing about using holes is that you can pull them back out later if you want to use the bases for a different variety of flowers or something else. Also, if you glue two paper grass to each other with three wires sandwiched between, they will be stiff enough to make taller grass. Same thing for the leaves, and you could use a loop instead of having to keep it straight to look like leaf veins. Youcan choose any wire that works well without needing it to be green. I love the curvy spiral stem! Your daughter will never forget how you made these just for her. 🥰
