#1 The 1975 Chocolate Brownies
150 g dark chocolate (5.3oz)
125g vegan butter (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
125 ml plant milk (1/2 cup)
60g apple sauce (1/4 cup)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
30g unsweetened cocoa powder (1/4 cup)
135g light brown sugar (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
135 g flour (1 cup + 1 1/2 tbsp)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
150 g dark chocolate (chopped), to be added in last
*yields enough for one 8x8 inch (20cm) brownie
#2 Sesame Syrup (from my Cookbook)
1 1⁄2 tbsp white tahini
11⁄2 tbsp agave or maple syrup
a pinch of salt
1 to 2 tsp non dairy milk
for the sesame latte:
1-2 tsp sesame syrup
1 shot espresso
⅓ - ½ cup (80ml - 125ml) frothed hot plant milk

#3 Lana’s Cherry Cola Pie
dough:
5 - 7 ice cubes mixed with ½ cup (125ml) cola or other soda of choice*
300g flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp powdered sugar
200g vegan butter, COLD
*You won’t need to add the entire ½ cup of cola, Add it 2 tbsp at a time, until the dough comes together. I used ⅓ cup (80ml) of the icy coke in total. The rest you can use for the filling!
filling:
2-3 cups frozen cherries (300-550g)
optional: 1 cup frozen blueberries (150g)
¼ cup (60ml) cola
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup cornstarch (30g)
also; more flour for the surface, 1-2 tbsp cola for brushing the top
→ yield 1 8 - 9 inch cake
#4 AM’s Black Treacle Flapjacks
150g (5.3oz) vegan butter
120g (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp) brown sugar
150g (5.3) black treacle
1/3 cup (80ml) NDM
200g (2 cups + 1 tbsp) rolled oats
200g (2 cups + 1 tbsp) small cut
Pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
8 - 9 baking pan laid out w parchment paper
#5 Bejeweled Rosé Lavender Cake
For the cakes:
Use three 6inch (12,5cm) cake tins (preferably made out of silicone)
135g sugar (1/2 cup + 1 1/2 tbsp)
85g vegan butter (1/3 cup)
2 tbsp apple sauce
180ml (3/4 cup) cheap Rosé
250g flour (2 cups + 1 tbsp)
2 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
For the Quick Lavender Syrup:
2 tbsp dried lavender flowers
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 1/2 tbsp agave/maple/rice syrup
100ml (1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) water
For the Rosé Buttercream:
200g vegan butter at room temp and cut into cubes (1 cup minus 1 1/2 tbsp)
Generous pinch of salt
1 1/2 tbsp rosé
400g - 500g powdered sugar (3 1/3 cups - 4 1/4 cups)
Also purple food coloring
Sugar pearls for decorating

I love that you talked about Cigarettes After Sex. They're way too underrated. At least, they are in America. I don't know about everywhere else. Favorite song from Midnights is... Wow, this is hard. I probably listen to Anti-Hero most, but I love most of the songs. Also, the bonus track "Bigger Than The Whole Sky" is phenomenal.

These look incredible and delicious, the lavender haze cake especially looks beyond gorgeous 💗 10/10 songs too :) Not really a band for food songs, but one love to listen to whilst cooking/baking are songs by Earcandy (particularly Better Alone), though maybe one day they'll release a food song :D hope you have an epic weekend!

A trick with treacle, a very light coating of neutral oil in whatever bowl you're using to weigh/measure. It slides out so much easier x
