I could give you 100 years and you wouldn't be able to develop half of the car assets in that game. @@tincangamer2188 Scanning assets is literally the easiest part. AI, software approaching and programming need a creative team to execute. CDPR's plan was to scam people by showing a shiny graphics and their plan worked very well since they sold 13 million copies in days.

​@@msj1131 You're obsessed with crowd and police AI, when this game has way more to offer than that. 200 hours in, I've never once had an issue with the police, and pedestrians are equally as non-interactive in real life. This game is a looter shooter with RPG elements, comparable to Borderlands, The Division, Destiny, and Fallout 4. If you were expecting GTA levels of pedestrian AI, and that's all you care about in a game, I'm not surprised you're disappointed. I'm not, and most people who actually take the time to play it objectively aren't either.

If there was anyway for you to make this thing capable of multiplayer I could see it being a pretty decent Cyberpunk survival game. Mad props either way for what you were able to accomplish in such little time!

Funnily enough, having played 2077 I can say passive pedestrian ai is pretty similar to what you came up with.

Dani uses unity, this Will uses unreal. Totally different engines. Dani relies pretty heavily on all the streamlining features of Unity. Unreal is pretty in depth and hands on.

I'm actually just seeing this video now and I legit thought this was kind of an irony (principally the AI part) considering that the real game feels like an alpha version, and then I saw when this video was released

I'm literally also doing this with low poly stylized assets because while I loved playing Cyberpunk2077, it really brought the bar down for how approachable creating open worlds felt. I highly recommend looking at the "Character Interaction" system on the Unreal Engine marketplace. It appears to have been based partially on early trailers of Cyberpunk2077 and includes features that got cut from the CDProjects final project like vehicle weapons and vehicle customization.

Not quite cyberpunk but you somehow managed to get the AI just as good as their own!

Imagine what he could do if he put lots of time and effort into one game and made it not based off whatever meme is currently popular, GOTY right there
