That's how I feel about all of Chanel's books. I like to do pen and ink sketching, but actually laying pen to her creations is scary!

Another excellent "quiet" video! You are so self assured to forego measuring ( pasting decorative paper, creating circular windows, etc. ) and winging it with your practiced eye and hand. Chanel, I pre-ordered your book and can’t wait to receive it…you put so much time and effort into its creation that I just know it’s going to be amazing! My daughter in Hawaii is into astrology so I’m planning to make her an astrology journal, applying my own creative spin and handmade paper that I create. She also loves moon phases so I’ll incorporate that too. I love that you’re so detail oriented and everything you create looks like very high quality. Recently, my husband asked me to find reasonably priced replacement journals (hardbound notebooks) for his custom [military] journal cover that he had made years ago (he works in a secure environment where electronics are not allowed, so he carries a journal/notebook). I wasn’t able to find the right size books so I’m going to make them myself. I now need to find either dot paper or graph paper as that’s what he likes to write on. Btw, do you offer templates and printables? :-)

Thats a nice way to sew the pages, no endbands, using half of guard pages, no reinforcing the spine with more paper. It's great! I wonder what kind of thread you used.

I noticed this paper has a dot grid on it so I wasn't sure if this was the same watercolor paper you use in the other journals you make or something else. If it is a different paper could you tell me what kind it is?

If I'm not mistaken, the glue you use is PVA based. I use the same PVA based glue, but it is not as fluid as yours. Do you buy it as a ready-made product or do you increase its fluidity by making some additions yourself?
