I love how the paint makes the pattern more visible, I think it adds to the impressionist effect from afar and it's really pretty in close-ups.

Never would I have thought to paint a corset! what a lovely, lovely idea. I have been putting off my corset because the arthritis in my hands is giving me some bombastic side-eye, but I might just have to so I can paint mine instead of making a silk cover.

🎨🖌 As an artist I would recommend to add dots of orange, red or pink to further visualize that it’s grass and a field * despite that amazing work, I could never, I may draw but that is next level of talent ✨💕💖

The tie dye dye worked great! The gradient is lovely., a very pretty final result.

Ouuuff, that form 😭🤩In impressionism, every single brush placement wirh thick paint is identifieble, watching from a distance will it meege into the picture the painter want us to see, yours is more like watercolor :)) STILL turned out beautiful 😍

Ariel if you want to set a fabric dye without buying special solutions, just put salt in the water. plain old table salt, a couple of big handfuls, add your fabric once the salt has dissolved, leave it for a few hours or a day, rinse and repeat if necessary.

Je suis une grande fan des peintures de Monet, mon préféré est "La Tamise à Charing-Cross (1903)" depuis que je l'ai vu à Lyon : on dirait qu'il brille ! "La promenade" me rappelle ma grand-mère, qui avait un livre sur l'impressionnisme avec ce tableau en grand.

I wasnt sure about the blue on the bottom but with the flossing it tied together nicely, and brought out the pattern on the fabric.

Special kit for fitting corset? That's genius! I love how yours turned out, it looks more like a watercolor painting, very elegant. I guess creating the effect of an oil painting would require several layers of paint.

Now I want to paint all my white waistcoats.

the ammount of joy I feel seeing you making this burn test is redicioulus. I've been taught how to identify fiber contents in fabrics with the burn test and it's just like seeing someone of my own ... tribe?... when you do that test. also, I'm not at that part of the video yet but I already spotted the simplicol. I've been using the washing machine dye so much lately.. I just have to many pieces of clothing that I don't wear because they are not black. simplicol helps with that.

Love this! I love impressionist art and I think this turned out so pretty! Great idea to utilize something affordable and accessible like a tie dye kit.

Loved the corset, went to the website, but was not able to get it in English so was not able to figure it all out 😿😿 finally worked out the cost in AUS $ WOW around 300$ AUS so right now umm nope. Well worth keep it in mind as I like the fact it has everything in the box as to what is required to make it I loved the use of the fabric dyes as paint it too a plain corset and lifted it up. Surprising what you can achieve using a kiddies tie-dye set😹😹😹very cool indeed 🤗🤗

Absolutely beautiful, will definitely be checking out that kit, have been thinking of trying out corset making but have been a bit intimidated!

I just finished my first corset and have similar problems, it gives no reduction except around the top (but my boobies are at high tea), now I want another one which is truer to Victorian standards. You’ve got me inspired. But maybe in a few weeks/months so it’s extra pretty and since I just had my second wisdom tooth surgery so I need something to distract waiting for the painkillers to kick in. Edit: I played with the colors of mine too! I alternated silver and gold eyelets! Yours are too cute! I’m definitely tempted to get that kit, it’s an amazing value for the price!
