I need more horizontal storage in the studio. In this video, I make the table top for a new desk using mainly scraps of pine wood and valchromat.

There wasn't any boom. I'm disappointed, Christina! You are forgiven, since this video is a perfect break from my New Year's dinner prepping.

It’s okay, I said boom.
🌈wow So great job. your design and skill is SOOOO GREAT. thx for sharing. greatings from swizerland❤️🍀
Awesome! I have a 12X20 foot shop and you always inspire this 70 year old retired engineer!
Joyfully JoyFULL Fabricating. I’m looking forward to your New concepts for the New Year.
More City Scape Scrap end pieces!! This gave me a great idea! I have a stainless steel counter in wheels, like u find in restaurants, that I currently use as a dining table. Is great work area from baking to getting seeds started indoors. The stainless steel compliments my appliances & black concrete counters. The down side is not having good leg room when more than 2 are seated. Having more scrap than I have room for this would b a great project. I can add magnets to the under side or add trim so the wood top won't move about. When not in use I can hang it on the wall. Isn't that what the call "art deco"? 🤣🤣 Looking forward to more over ur wonderful projects & drooling over ur tools. No longer having a plainer or joiner I regularly use my router creating jigs- ur new toy is really nice. Reminded me of jigs we've made w aluminum ladders to cut boards from logs using chainsaw. Keep waiting for u to start processing ur own lumber....
I really appreciated what you said about perfection.
Excellent new that’s beautiful, very cool design, i am from pakistan.
Such an good way to use scraps lying around your shop. The table top looks awesome!
I think the pine repairs look great. It gives it a handmade vibe witch I love.
What imperfections. That's the beauty of that tabletop.
I like how you're using your scraps for projects.
I Love the tabletop I think the counters on the inlays is in line with the rest of the table and just add to the overall look.
Hi Dirty hands! To remove burning from laser cut you can use alcool vinegar.
I have learned so much from your channel. Keep up the great work. I know your dad is super proud of you!
Excellent New Year's present from you. The tabletop looks awesome.
You are the best in this job.
Happy new year and lots of fun in 2023! Those Valcromat stripes look awesome.
I rather get an autograph from a creator on YT than a Hollywood celebrity. 2023 will be the "year of the creators". Happy New Year!
Excellent work, as usual. Happy 2023!
Boa Ano Novo Cristiana 🎉 Retired American now living in Portugal. I enjoy your videos and I am really impressed with your English. Muito bom 🙂
You've given me a great idea here on how to use some of the scraps in my shop! Happy new year!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Oh dang, I was going to chuck out 2 boxes of timber scraps. I bet I hang on to them "just in case". That looks awesome.
That’s beautiful, very cool design shape!
Fine work and practicabel tips for every DIY-home-carpenter. Thank's a lot and with best regards.👍✨️

Great Work, Holiday greetings from Arizona.
Even your not perfect work is perfect. :)
Wow, awesome!!
Man i was thinking this table probably would of been an awesome candidate for resin filling/pouring for some of the imperfections. It looks awesome thought!
I like how the inlet with burnt contours look in the end result.
Um Feliz 2023, Cris. Muitas felicidades e realizações. Um grande beijo em seu coração. 😘
Cool table top, looking forward to the cabinet build.
0:06 You have an IKEA Malm drawer! I suppose it's practical and cost efficient.
Thank you, Chistina, for a fabulous year of video's. Your videos bring colour to our lives along with style. Happy New Year!
I really like how you introduce color stripes in your designs
man, this looks great, could've played a bit more with the inlays and some butterflies or some stars or something similar
Lovely Cris, amazing what can be done with scraps!! Happy NY 🎉
I think the imperfections are beautiful ❤
The top looks so good!
Happy new year from Spain. Great job... as always. :)
Good work - but - I think you could have built your own sled and it would have made a fun video.
Another wonderful project from my favorite woodworker ! Até para o ano, Cris! And thanks for the link to the Sauter shop : so much choice!
What an unique tabletop. I love it. Great wort. 🙂👍
That router sled looks so cool! 🤩 I don't have room or money for a giant industrial-size slab planer, but I *do* have a router and lots of ideas. So many possibilities...
Its so cool !!
Um belo trabalho com sobras de madeira. Sensacional
You are awesome! your style is immutable, I really love it. happy New Year
Happy New Year's and love the tabletop looks so cool the colored scraps are so cool in it

That looks awesome 🖤
Cool!
Hi Chris it is great to see you face the camera and see you talk you are great and I enjoy watching your videos good man
Great project. Have a wonderful new year.
That looks fantastic!
You are AWESOME!
It is better to accept imperfections in final look, because as there is a lot of soft wood, it will get damaged anyway while using it. It will receive plenty of small dents and imperfections over time anyway. Can't wait to see you buil the cabinet under that table top. Happy new year and thanks for the amazing content !
By the first two minutes I was having PTSD from how many times not straight enough or untill they were straight was used 🤣🤣🤣 Beautiful project as always, and lovely to see a maker in Porto!
Best wishes! This looks stunning.
AMEI O VIDEO COMO SEMPRE!!!
love it!!

Looks awesome! The dust from your project wasn’t that bad. Trust me, you should see my shop, it’s a disaster!
I love the colored pieces, wish I had some scraps of these lying around 😊
Fantastic work, as always!
I love it, flaws and all.
Great project, as always :) Happy New Year to you too!
Flattening that huge mess of scraps looks so satisfying!

What! No booooooom! I’m deeply disappointed😉 table top is cool though👍🏻🤣, I like Happy new year 🎉
Muito bem!
Love the reclaimed-wood table top - including the "outline" of the patches. By the way, you do realize that stashing of lumber and woodworking are two separate hobbies, right? :)
Nice Looking worktop.
