I think what the Goomba game needs is the inclusion of more Goomba's and less Juicy boys. Maybe if you make Juicy Boy so good to where he almost can't lose, and each time you get squashed, you can play another Goomba, and other Goombas on the screen are AI until you transfer. Something like this, to where it's kind of like making lemmings do creative things in a way that mirrors an actual mario level.

Hey, that's a nice rookie-level game idea. That's how we all started. Can't wait to see your skills improve, here's a sub.

this reminds me of a couple different games which have done the same concept. Super Mario Bros - Goomba Mode, which was an old flash game with a similiar concept but it was endless & you had to stop an infinite amount of marios. really neat concept overall! not sure if youre intrested in developing it further but if you do i think itd be really funny if all the various juciy boys in levels with mutliple were different colors. maybe some could even have different abilities like a green juicy boy could jump higher, a yellow juicy boy could break brickks they stood on, ect ect.

Actually gombas do have their own game called minions quest wich is a dlc for Mario and luigi super star saga remake and I love this dlc

Damn, that’s a brutal reply from Nintendo.

Could def see this as a future Wario Ware minigame. The time trial aspect, goofy nature, possibility for callback & mildly diverging levels would make it perfect for that series.

Cool asymmetrical multiplayer concept. Have a ‘Mario’ type platformer where one player is the ‘Mario’ while the other players play as a random enemy at some point in the level. Each potential enemy has their own ability while the ‘Mario’ has their own advantages. Maybe even make the ‘Mario’ grab powerups similar to the ones you’d be picking up in game. Make it like 10 v 1 or even go big with it and have like 3 ‘Marios’ and 50 enemy characters.

I’ve got an idea…. Why don’t you send them a bunch of emails about the same thing until they accept. That’s a great idea.😊

I don't know what it is called but I definitely remember watching ThaBeast playing a SMW rom hack where you transform into a Monty Mole and have to fight Mario as the final boss.

Me being the enemy all along was a plot twist I never expected, man

In some mario games you do turn into a goomba but there is no mario chasing you, but wait there is shadow mario in some like mario galaxy 2 or wonder, but that is such a good idea maybe if you add different enemy abilities

As a kid I dreamed of multiplayer Mario where player 2 controlled some onscreen enemy or environmental hazard as Player 1 encountered them while moving through the level.

Goombas need some sort of RTS like game, where you have tons of weak Goombas to defeat the strong lone JuicyBoiii by the end of the level.

You should make the person who is supposedly controlling Mario an actual character with a storyline that affects their behavior. Mario could come repeatedly like representing the player dying and coming back. You could show the player becoming frustrated, unpredictable or simply messing up sometimes, and then they become suspicious of your goomba's abilities and get sneaky and smarter.

Y'all we need to spam emails to Nintendo. They can't block all of us.

I think the sword beak bird guy from the Bowser level in mario odyssey. Would make a perfect little puzzle platformer game Really wish there was more to do as the cute little dudes

I think this could be a lot improved if: - Mario had better AI and perfectly dodged midair. - You could control multiple Goombas, after you die you take possession of the next goomba in the level or you take control of another one manually

Ever heard of this game known as "A Koopa's Revenge"? In the second game, you can play as not only a Koopa, but also a Goomba or a Shy Guy!

Actually, there was a game jam game with this premise I saw a few months earlier, I wish I remembered the name.

I think the game would work better if JB tried to actually stomp you, so he has 2 win conditions. Also, you should chain several screens together and throw a bunch of JBs at the player. Every JB that makes it gets to the next screen and if one stomps on you, all remaining ones get through. And then you have a new chance to stop them in the next level. It's a bit like Takeshi's castle if you are Lord Takeshi's henchman. You could also change the player characters from screen to screen. Goombo got stomped? Okay, the next one you play is another creature who plays a bit different

My uncle Nintendo would never be so hostile towards Goombas, something's wrong with that email!

There should be a way for traditional Mario - I mean Juicy Boy - to take damage rather than just a 1-hit or 2-hit kill, each time JB passes or kills an enemy in the original game, your avatar spirit is launched into the next available npc villain in the direction juicy boy is facing. Easy mode = you don't have to hit juicy boy as much, hard mode = you have to hit him more to kill him dead before the end...

A mario game in which you fight for the bad side would be quite interesting. Like you go to Bowser and he commands you to stop Mario and then you go ahead and try to stop him. The Mario character would need a very sophisticated AI or normal humans in order to make the game interesting.
