Now THIS is the right inspiration I needed to get to stepping to redesign some badass weaponry. A new creative Kira vid was just what I needed on this fine rainy autumn morning being on the mend from the ick. Before I used to think that the Grim Reaper’s Sythe from Dante’s Inferno was top tier cool in design but yours takes that top tier position without mercy, this was so fun to see come to life! :3

I absolutely adore the scene where you sculpted the bat wings - so simple but so gorgeous in terms of the lines and shapes!! reminds me of da Vinci ornithopter designs - now I want a whole bat wing chandelier or candelabra or something, all flickering lights and swooping shadows.

Get a belt sander with a varying grits. Makes those blade edges a lot easier. Can even prop the tool up to mimic a vertical grind stone surface

Love it! ❤ Though I feel like the lantern bit is a bit much/ makes the tope very visually busy. I think it didn't really needed this bit. Other than that I freaking love it. I love the stained glass window design, the little bat gargoyle on top, the lights. Just mmmmhua chefs kiss. Also a little dry brushing tip I picked up from Studson Studio: cheap make up brush. Covers a lot of area really fast. I think that might've saved you some time doing the staff part specifically

I would wrap a string of lights, just around the pole for the lantern, so it looks more like a proper light source, instead of around the outside of it.

I aspire to have this level of originality and creative genius in my props! I made a scythe for my Halloween costume and it's a pretty generic scythe. But there was def room for some creative freedom, I suppose because I'm being a harvest goddess, but....I also wanted it to look more organic and natural so...There's that. LOL. So my little girl cheers for flag football and this year our homecoming float is Halloweentown themed. Lemme say, it's been super difficult to come up with decor. I've had plenty ideas, but can't do them myself lol I tried to make Merlin's talisman with a light up toy we already had... yea, the wires all broke and I didn't have small enough wires or a saudering thing... I gave up lmao I'm not too good with the light situation!

I really love ur character desing chellenges video, they give me a lot of knowledge on how to start with digitail , but if you could just leave the windows on working space it would be so helpful!
