I actually do like how you've used the idea that the game is lying. It's so subtle but effective how the intro sets you up to think that there's an ending but there just never is

Better idea for tying in the prompt: It’s procedurally generated, but there are menus formatted like those of games with designed levels (i.e. Angry Birds). In this way the game *lies* about its very nature, and the player is none the wiser, endlessly searching for the gateway to “Level 2”. _Eh?_

You can definitely turn this into a movie about finding bill

Imagine if you added text every so often like: Bill? Where are you? I'll find you even if it takes all the time in the universe! Will I ever get to Bill? Does Bill even exist? I have no one else... Basically, make it sad or depressing so the player REALLY wants to find Bill to stop the suffering of this virtual robot.

uncanny valley the robot gets anthropomorphize with the searching of his friend just a little too much like remember when the mars rover was like it's going dark, well this looks a little to much like a real life living and feeling robot, but not enough like a real life robot to fool us, so uncanny valley a thing that looks creepy because its so real but something small is off, gets put on something we anthropomorphize.

hearing that soundtrack is giving me bad memories of when i played this game and was raging at it.

Looks like a game I would've played back in 2014... 10/10 would play again.

You can tell he procrastinated, he gets the character done in 1 day, but a name, tutorial, title screen, music, sfx, and new platforms in 8 hours

Stone Story RPG is something like that wouldn't say it's 100% that theme, but you basically give the character weapons and they fight by itself.

i like the name "were's bill" it is a nice choice.

i played it on my phone with mouse and keyboard it is amazing!!!!! good work!!!!

Plot twist: Bill is his imaginary friend and the robot's only purpose was to find bill who never existed, the robot's creator was just curious what would happen if a robot was to be programmed to find someone who doesnt exist Edit and add-on: what if bill was a magical dorito guy that took over a town called gravity falls and then died
