Trucking is good but people need to consider the whole picture. He mentioned that out of an annual turnover of $500,000, your take home could be about $150,000. This tells you the expenses are high, and it can get more expensive if things go wrong. Then there's the risk of road crashes from constantly being on the highway. Sitting for long hours also has many health risks, some of which will only manifest when you get older. Also, out of their profit, they have to pay their own social security, 401k, health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance etc. They don't get any annual bonuses or company 401k match. I haven't even touched on missing out on family life and social life. So the business might be good but consider the whole picture before you jump in.

How much bonuses will any company pay in a year? Last year, as a nurse I received $500usd as bonus from my employer. Please those of you in the US, kindly listen to the business ideas these guys are given. It might not necessarily be that everyone will venture into trucking business, however there are other businesses we all can tap into per the encouragement these guys are talking about.

@@tamnadvardis7039masa, there are high risk jobs and low risk jobs. How many times have you heard of plane crash in the US compared to Car crash. Check the stats, don’t just say anything. The risk can also be that your truck can break down and you have to spend a lot to fix it. That’s if you are own operator.

According to my research and interviews I have watched on this channel and other channels on KZread.Trucking in America has vast opportunities than Uk. I have been truck driver for 6 years and I got both military and civilian experience. I have been driving across Europe and all over Uk. To get into trucking industry now is difficult, job opportunities are limited and every company or agency requires you to have 6 months experience minimum unlike US. Apparently you could spend more £4000 to get your class 1 driver license from your pocket and not getting hired isn’t worth it. There isn’t much financing scheme here to do the training unlike US companies can financed you and you work for them at the end, which means you’re guaranteed for a job. I wish I could come onto this channel and talk about UK trucking industry

🚨While we talk about money, let’s also note the health effect on Truckers , from accidents, HTN to Strokes, it’s a high risk job, don’t just talk about money only !!!!!!

There are so many ways you can go with trucking for lack of better word transportation. These brothers you talk to, talk more about the money involved, but I don't know if they are trying to get people into trucking or they are talking about how much one can make so please they have to tell us about which of trucking business they are talking about there's a lot that goes into it and so many avenues.
