Before you say anything, yes, I know that _Serana Dialogue Add-on_ and _Serana Dialogue Edit_ exist 😂, but I wanted to do a mod of that type myself. I'm not planning on making an exact copy, don't worry.

@@demonkiller8000 funny thing is that in theory they actually should, given how, at least so far, this mod only adds inconsequential dialogue topics to the character, but it will also be a bit of a mess because you will have two inconsistent sides of the character simultaneously. 😂

@@demonkiller8000 Well, the point of this mod is to create a different take on the character. While I love what Serana Dialogue Add-on managed to accomplish, I don't really like the creator's take on Serana because she sometimes acts like a teenager and the player character becomes literally Raiden from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance during the Dark Brotherhood questline (no, really). He has every right to do that, of course, and he warns us that his take may not be to everyone's taste, but that only encouraged me to create a version of the character with a personality closer to that of the vanilla game. My point is that diversity is always a win, so it may be better to treat these mods as separate takes on the character to encourage creativity, rather than restricting ourselves to the tastes of our fellow creators and prevent our respective mods from reaching their writing's full potential. I don't think my mod will be as advanced as SDA anyway, so I'm just doing it out of passion with the little experience I have with modding.

Are you planning a romantic line with Serana?

As a fellow Serana simp, I want to add that to the list. However, I don't want to simply enable her as a marriage partner, as her trauma prevents her from walking into a temple with a clear conscience, so I don't want her to act out of character. I'd need to come up with a way for her to accept the Dragonborn as a partner AND learn to program her AI so that after that she acts like a spouse without going through the wedding ritual. In any case, that's not my first priority right now. First I want her to be integrated into the three main quests and faction quests before starting any more dialogue options. And that won't happen in a long time because my current subscription to ElevenLabs won't let me create more voices until 20 days from now 🥲
