Glad you are back. I love listening to your videos. I have been a mum to little ones for over 6 years now, they are 6, 4 and 17months and I feel a bit lost as a person. I love the "I am the frame not the picture" that feels about right. :-) X

It’s so easy to lose sight of who we are as actual individuals. But then how often are we actually without children? Or when we are, actually free. As in can go out rather than suck in the house whilst they sleep. Haha. Hope you’re ok though.

Love your honesty and the fact you keep it real. I am sat in bed after a super crap day with my son and feel a complete failure and the worst mum ever!

Oh love. I am sorry you’ve had a crap day. I empathise. After I uploaded this someone hit my car on the school run so I feel you. But I am sure you’re not even remotely like the worst mum. I know I feel it at times too but we’ve never abused or neglected our kids. And even if we forget things it make mistakes it’s never with ill intention or malice. Massive hugs to you. I am sure you’re no failure.

You do not waffle too much! I love watching you because it’s like having a conversation with you. You are too hard on yourself. Hahaha, the sugar cubes haha. As I keep saying, you being you is exactly why we started watching. You are so open and honest, the good, the bad and the ugly. In KZread world that is quite rare! Your rage at the trains makes me smile. You are better with words than you give yourself credit for! I just wanna give you a really big hug xxx An idea, come to my town for the day, we can do the rides and a picnic on the beach and we can do a collab :-)

Yes, yes, YES!! Lisa, you're back! I've missed you and your videos. Every... single... word you said I found myself going, "yes! That's me! Yes, I feel like that!" You are not a failure. You are REAL. And that is why I love you and your videos. I can fully relate to you and it's so refreshing to watch videos of someone who maybe doesnt have a show home or whatever. I cant relate to those videos or mums that do. My house looks like a bomb has hit it! PLEASE do some videos on tweens/teens!! There isn't much on KZread from real mums about this age group. My two are 10 and 12. I have no idea what I'm doing either. You're a beautiful woman and a wonderful mum. * yes, I also find it easier to say the right words than to ever believe them about myself, but that's okay. I'm the same as you. Aww love this. Thank you. Yeah I’m happy to do videos on them but not sure exactly what. And nothing that they’d hate me for. I try not to annoy them too much as the stomping about and strops are fat too entertaining and apparently laughing is the wrong reaction 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@@140Lumdee Yep, I hear you. All I can say is DITTO. Maybe that is what the video needs to be about. Just to know you're not on your own and the stomps and stamping feet, slamming doors and the attitude problems are NORMAL and stressful and frustrating to deal with. Its HARD! Every stage of my childrens lives I've said is the hardest. I've now learnt that as they get older, it simply gets harder and more challenging. The early years are so different by comparison. In any case, any video you choose to do will be welcomed by so many and will touch someone, help someone, comfort someone. Just be you Lisa. Xxx

Wow I could so relate to this. I have a more severe autistic son of 11 and now my 3 year old is looking to be diagnosed :-(( yet they are both different ends of the spectrum.. I’ve been to autism mums coffee mornings yet all there kids was in mainstream and mine is special school.. sometimes you think wrongly that you will just click with a fellow autism mum but that’s not the case xx

Oh bless you. Edith’s mainstream for now but I don’t think she will be for many years longer to be honest but you never know. My friends with autistic children mostly have very severely autistic children who are at special schools so I’m the odd one out. However I became friends with most of them before I had Edith to when she was a baby so I guess it’s different as we became friends because we got on and not because of autism. It can be very hard and isolating at times for many people. I hope you have lots of lovely support from other areas though. X

I never comment on anything but I just wanted to say I’m a mum that feels the same in the grey area! I do love watching your videos and you need to have faith in yourself (easier said than done) it’s your personality that got me watching xx

It was kinda funny. The world is ending... yeah ok chicken. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Every time I look into it shit hits the fan. I was making plans and starting to book things and then my job was gone. Redundant and a bit lost from it all. I don’t want to jinx us by trying again.
