    Lucas, I feel the same way you do about the old gas cans that don’t work well. Just ordered the Vevor gas can! 👍🏻

    This looks awesome. All the fuel tanks at Tractor Supply are cost prohibitive. I have a Branson 2515 Tractor and pouring 5 gal cans gets heavy. Thanks for the video!

    Lucas: good info again. I use five 20 liter diesel containers. I have a box that I made that all the containers fit into. That fits into my trailer. As for filling the BX, I put the container on the seat and place my Flo Tool Anti-Static Self-Priming Siphon Hose, 6-ft into the container and the other end into the tank. This works very well for me. I go through about 5 containers a winter season. I can see that the system you have works really well. I will check it out. Thanks again for the info.

    Fuel tanks are a must to have if you run any equipment. I like the idea of being able to take them in/out of the truck. Now a day`s finding off road fuel is hard to find , I am glad Mark has it. Now you got your tank you just have to find a way to pay to fill them up LOL My 90 gal tank is not cheap !

    30 gal. Plastic drums are the way to go. They're basically free you just need to adapt a little plumbing. Very cheap and you really can't go wrong with plastic drums no denting etc.

    Thanks I have the SAME unit from a different Reseller. My hand pump failed after Year One with Non Ethanol fuel . I think you will do better on diesel. The Unit is now in service with an electric pump from a hot rod parts supply store in Ohio. I had to remove the fuel level float to get the pump to reach bottom. Good Luck

    Thanks for the great video! For what it’s worth I use 25 or 55 gallon metal or plastic drums depending on the project I’m working on and how much fuel I need. I think it’s a much less expensive solution for storing and transporting fuel. All you need to add is a hand or electric pump and a 2” pipe fitting for the large drum bung hole sized for your pump. The other drum hole is usually 3/4” for the vent. I just use a pipe thread plug for the vent hole. I always move my drums with the loader bucket so haven’t had a need for wheels on the drum but they could be added if desired Either way the jerry cans are gone😅

  • @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead

    @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead

    That’s a solid idea! Probably quite a bit cheaper too. Nice thinking!

  • @jackvance6025

    @jackvance6025

    Definitely less expensive since I usually get my drums for free. Harbor freight sells a 12 V oil pump with a fuel hose and nozzle for about $70 that works good with diesel (not gas) or you can also use a hand pump

    I'd be up for this if I had the 2601 instead of the BX. I cant buy any pink diesel in the town I live in either and the taxless savings will evaporate if I have to travel to get it. Otherwise a really great idea.

    Having a tank of diesel rather than fuel cans is a game changer. I just got the Vevor 116 gallon diesel tank and I’ve loved it so far. Instead of clipping to your battery, can you clip to your starter? That’s what I do on my Kioti and it works great. Great video!

    I'm wondering about 2 things. How robust is the metal? Is it chintzy tin? And I'm wondering about rust in the tank over time.

    Well, I load it and unload it with tractor forks and mine is holding up fine. I don’t know what the tank looks like inside, but I’ve had mine about a year and I get clean fuel out of it. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Good luck!
