I started this video weeks ago but wasn't feeling it so I just left it unfinished. Today I went into it again and edited for more than 5 hours straight.
I read the book before watching the movie and I absolutely loved it and the movie was as great if not greater because of the beautiful acting by two of my favorite actors and because of the unbelievably beautiful scenery. Every shot was a painting truly and I enjoyed it.
Honestly Tom is the perfect man for me. I'd marry a Tom.
The video starts off as this perfect, beautiful love story than slowly starts to go downwards really quickly. If you read the book or saw the movie you'd know that that's exactly how it was. Janus was a heaven for them and then it suffocated Isabel and turned into a hell because of the miss carriages. Honestly I won't wish Isabel's fate on any woman. I didn't want kids but after I read this book, I'm horrified of the idea of not being able to have kids forever.

One of the most heartbreaking stories I’ve ever watched in my entire life, Michael and Alicia just absolutely nailed their roles in spectacular acting! 10/10 masterpiece of a movie! 😭👏❤️

A wonderful movie , a story about dilemmas , catch 22s and getting punished for wanting to give care and love for an innocent life , truly inspirational movie , the whole casts deserved Oscars for their roles

If you're into books I recommend the book. It's amazing and the writing is lovely. Plus the movie of course left a lot of moments out.

The saddest most beautifully done movie; I could feel for her so much and I wish she had been able to keep her daughter. Alicia and Michael were amazing in this; I can see if this is where they fell in love. (from Sandi)

Then i opened KZread and searched for "The light between oceans edit" and your video popes up first. my tears escaped my eyes as soon as i heard the music. This was made in an amazing way, and it definitely deserves more views. good job "BlueBell" .

@@bluebell8557 I can barely watch this video without crying each time. Every time i see anything related to this movie i just get emotional and try to avoid it, the emotions that i get are both happy and sad. So i don't think ill be able to read the book.

This is why I avoid chick flicks)). They're either stupid and full of cliches or they rip your heart out like this one. I dated a lady and helped raise her daughter from 2 to 6 and it killed me when the relationship ended because I never had kids of my own. Atleast she remembers me

Yesss she’s meant to be very young. She’s described as young and with a youthful baby face in the book. I think it’s to show how the island ruined her innocence by the end of the book.

Isabel? She does get her husband back because she stands up for him at the end there but her child isn't her child. The girl stays with her real mother and Isabel and Tom live alone somewhere far. The ending Is very bitter sweet. You should see the movie. Won't spoil it all on you.
