I've got a 2014 Mustang v6 premium which I've owned since 2019. It's my "sunny weekend cruiser". Reliable, good mpg, more than adequate horsepower for the kind of driving I do, and it looks great. Hitting North Dakota's many desolate highways in this car makes me happy. It gets me away from the mundane realities of day to day life and I always come home with a smile on my face. The car will never be worth anything to anyone but me, and that's fine. I enjoy driving it, I take good care of it, and I hope to have it for a very long time to come.

I’ve had since it was new, it’s stock but I have only changed the water pump the fuel line, alternator and starter and nothing else. This thing has been such a great car, never gives me any trouble. Ford really needs to bring the 3.7 v6 back with the 6 speed transmission they both last forever.

The 2013-2014 Mustangs were identical to the 2015+ models underneath in using the next generation of technology and computers, but used older interiors and simpler body panels and so on. Win-win, especially used. -The number of the V6 models that have had a problem is extremely low as well. And technically the 2015-2016 V6 with the new body style as well. I have had mine for 10 years now, 125K miles, and had two repairs in that time. It simply works and is dirt cheap to operate. 2 sets of brake pads (finally needs a 3rd set), original clutch. And does 0-60 in under 6 seconds, not that you'd NEED to in traffic as it is very quick to get spun up. Overall, 10/10 car, especially used. NOTE - the Ecoboost isn't as reliable or as easy to work on (and is odd to drive stick with - very turbo-lag with manual), and the V8 is silly for basic transportation. I've had my V6 with its 305HP up to 90mph on road trips across the country (like Texas where 85mph is the posted speed!) and it's rock solid.

Scotty is the man but to say this mustang is the fastest V6 ever might be a stretch. I, an American, live in Austria now where we also have the Autobahn ( German word for freeway ) and I've driven a few Porsche that would leave that mustang in the rear view mirror, especially in the curves. The Honda NSX is also a V6 among many other faster cars. Having said all that bolognae I have very fond memories of my grandfather's mustang Shelby V8 fastback. At the time he bought it, it was the fastest production car in the world if I remember correctly. He used to take us kids to look for Santa while my mom and grandma were putting presents under the tree. Good memories.

I'll challenge him to a race with my 2010 Toyota Venza, V6 no mods 😜 As is I have to be careful not to punch it too hard for she will spin the tires horrifically and fishtail. I asked my mechanic "WYH!" He said, the V6 engine in the Toy Venza is too powerful for the weight, size etc. of the car. Not just me! Others have driven my car thinking she is a 4 cyc, thinking it's just a crossover and no racer and have spin the tires and fishtailed. A little scary! I really want a truck, but if I end up keeping the Venza I will have the breaks beefed up and maybe a few mods, no super charger that's for sure! Haven't investigated yet, but a mod I'd like is to get the real sound from the V6 providing if it doesn't harm the system.

No lag? Wrong. Belt driven prochargers build boost at higher rpm, similar to a turbo, not like a roots or twin screw charger.. This is basically a belt driven turbo

Superchargers can come into boost at whatever rpm you want, thats why they make different sized pulleys for them. The centrifugal type like in the video are like a turbo with a gear box being powered by a belt. Change the pulley size on the front , it spins it faster or slower building boost at higher or lower rpms.
