a few tips... 1. - go fast and hard. 2. - think, think and more think. 3. - dont do anything stupid, like getting hurt. 4. - have fun. your in a very serious race now. people have died in it. shit happens and thats racing. you are doing all the right things, exercise, head space and gear prep.. looking forward to seeing your name in the stats and watching your progress. have fun and be safe

Nice one Vanessa. To grow it makes sense to move on to a harder rally. Supporting the local community along with Two Wheels for Life by the rally has to be commended, the rally is far more than just a rally.. Many thanks for sharing. Hip Hip Hurraaa, I new it, just didn't know which edition you'll join, you will be ok I am pretty sure you will be ok having watched your progress you'll nail it, just remember the main moto " Enjoy every instant of it" although you will go through some tense and difficult situations, never forget to smile and enjoy the moment as it will be the ones you will most remember once you are back home......very happy for you . lots of luck and I will keep a close eye on you.

To be honest I really was thinking of the Dakar Race itself, but hey, what a race is this. After all I think there's no better race than this to connects with who you are and what you stand for. Wow! That really sounds like an event to be proud to be a part of! Plus you get to race a wicked bike!! Not sure why but this video made my eyes leak a lil. It feels weird to say but it's like some sort of pride. I just love seeing women excel in their dreams. When the voice in my head tells me I can't, women like you show me I can! Thank you for bringing up your hip. You're so capable that I consistently forget about that until you lift your bike up facing it and I remember your mentioning that you CAN'T do it the other way. I and the rest of your audience should remember that you're doing all of this with a preexisting severe injury. Makes it so much more powerful.
