Walnut’s POV: I rushed to the white, pristine hallways, each with rooms that have sick cookie’s, healing and going through surgery. But this, was different. I stopped myself infront of a door and took a deep breath. Am I too late? I slowly opened the door and there he was, my father. He was the one who adopted me and raised me, he even taught me how to do most of his work for him, for me to learn in the future. He was growing old, and so am I. I stood there, infront of his bed. He was breathing calmly. I didn’t want to wake him up, it reminded me of the days when he’d sleep in the early mornings on his desk, and I leave him his coat on him so he wouldn’t catch a cold. Then he’d wake up, thanking me for giving him the coat, then with a smile he’d say “I’m proud of you”
