This is the right way to cover a song.

I love the squeaks of the fingers going up and down the strings. Not sure why, but I always think it adds another layer to acoustic performances. With that said, this is pure gold, guys. This song is hauntingly beautiful. Definitely on a short list of the most perfect songs. You guys absolutely nailed it. Such a great cover.

Close your eyes, meditate, zone in on yourself with this playing in the background. It's heaven.

The only thing I didn't like about this one was that it was short. I was able to remedy this somewhat by listening to it a second time straight away. Great job!

Add to that: They only captured audio from a Zoom H2. No separate tracks for vocals & guitars. They are wonderful musos but whatever Josh does in post is also magic. I'd love to know how he manages to put the sound in our ears like that, so cleanly. Very professional from very little. It makes publishing accessible to so many more of us - if we only knew how!
