Incredible advice! Never hit two hardened steel objects together. I knew a kid who worked at PepBoys and he was trying to get a lower ball joint out and he was doing exactly that, striking one hammer with another hammer. A small piece of the hammer shot off and went into his stomach. He thought it just cut his skin, he had no idea it went into his stomach and into his kidney. Two hours later he was being rushed to the hospital internally bleeding. He lived but took over a year of recovery. This advice is sound, I’ve seen first hand what can happen.

On the discovery Channel Mythbusters did that challenge and had come to the conclusion that it was okay to hit two hardened hammers together, unfortunately I already have proved their theory wrong. Was removing ball joints from a knuckle and using the two hammer techniques and had a chunk come off and hit me causing some minor bleeding. Mechanics are problem solvers and often get hurt solving problems, part of the trade

Man Tim got guns but he was hitting the axle with his purse. Mike came in with the dad strength and knocked it out no problem.

Mike speaks with experience, his insane racing career has made him experience all sorts of situations and he has figured out how to fix all of them. He instantly pointed out that the failure point was the axle and it was not just broken but destroyed. Also loved the vid, and digging the positive vibes.

Skipped through the whole video and barely watched it all because of the title. Most of your videos with a real title I watch. I feel like you guys have to branch out more. I think the all around best automotive related content creator is Cleetus. He puts out a ton of content without clickbait. A lot of the boring stuff is Timelapsed. Being stuck with exotics is a blessing and a curse. Yea it’s unique, but damn do things move slow. Cleetus is going to have a 500k full race car built that requires 1500 hours of labor before you guys finish the F12.
