I would say that the challenge for the ice base would be in the initial setup, and once established, the ice transportation, but i like things to seem like they could be realistic. Trains are always good!

You may want to see if there is a spit on the underside of the miner for a Light Panel. I think it would be helpful for you when you're flying down into your deep mines.

All the parts he left in the Bits where ones that are needed for Conveyors lol

at the top of Isy's Inventory Manager, there is a section for naming...Ores, Ingots, etc. You could change the name used on your rover from Ores to Ice or something else.

Thanks for another episode! That small grid conveyor just felt like a really bad idea from the start, but sunk cost fallacy I guess and it's different. No need for a power source if you lock your hinges and rotors. Anyone know of an auto-blueprint mod, because most people I know/watch need it badly. (I could use it myself.) Maybe add the concrete mod for your cave roof. It would be a shame if they broke through. Starting to find it hard to find the time again to watch (even at x2), but one day I'll finish watching this episode.

That's slower than manually transferring as I'd been doing, though I wish it had a higher speed mode if the connector were locked as that would be super handy

One idea for your streaming anniversary: Have an RTS style PvP server fight, where you need to build separate buildings for everything, connected by conveyors the way the players see fit. (power plants, refineries, war factories, civilian factories, defense turrets, defensive walls, radio tower) There should be some limitations tho, like one wehicle should only have a maximum of 2 different weapon types, and a maximum of 2 of each (so nobody builds something that is too OP), and have it standardised for each faction. Factions should have one unified design of each category, like a light vehicle, a medium vehicle, a heavy tank, APC, a utility vehicle, construction vehicle, resource gatherer, fighter plane, bomber plane (with crew controlled defense), unarmed aerial carriers.

Thanks for all the videos, been enjoying them for years. One question, why do you not use a mod that removes the grey "tracks" on the side of blocks? I find it cleans up builds so much and things just look so much better?

It's one of those things that I started doing long ago due to wanting to keep my builds as close to vanilla as I could. By leaving the edges on it means I know where they are so they don't unexpectedly ruin a build when you look at it in a vanilla setting 🙂

It just struck me, this series is becoming somewhat like tower defense, or a 3D version of Mindustry without the automated mining and ablative walls. Not sure if that's at all appealing to Splitsie, but I'm down with it even though I utterly _suck_ at Mindustry.

Remote issue, cycle power, its a weird new bug...

Lasting Hostility 2.0 a missile Base that spits out those missiles every so often. ice lake fueling Depot = it could be underground and you still have to get there! go for a surface level Train as the distance you need to go is a good amount. the track itself has no computers in it so it should be left largely alone where-as the Train will be a target.

It was one by Lucas that is very old, they were launched just like rockets so were quite simple compared to the ones that were block built

Yeah, it seems to be a server issue. I'll need to remember to add the torch plugin that's meant to fix that bug and see if it stops it happening

Idea for the anniversary stream. Space elevator while under fire in survival mode. I've seen them done in survival but seemingly in a peaceful setting. For extra challenge, concurrent planet core drill below it. That's probably it's own series being under fire. Perhaps it's justified to have a modest outpost base, fighter and utility ships at the start of it's all on a drop pod to kick it off.

After SE was launched on PS4 & 5 , I played it nonstop. Mostly on multiplayer. I'd say my success is mostly due to our channel.
