It's more than obvious Bronny's BBIQ and skill level have been hyped up. Bronny should have come into the NBA on the humble instead of having his father and Klutch Sports hype him up more than any other 2024 NBA draft pick. Scottie Pippen Jr would have been the perfect blueprint of a NBA star's son coming into the NBA and earning everything he gets. Guard Boogie Ellis, who actually started in the backcourt at USC, would have been a better second round pick for the Lakers while brining Bronny in on a two way contract. But LBJ's ego wouldn't allow that to happen. LBJ's had to have Bronny hogging the media spotlight from other 2024 draft picks who have actually earned the right to be recognized based on their basketball related particulars.

I fault LeBron and Rich Paul for putting Bronny in this position. How do you not foresee that getting your son drafted, when he averaged 5 pts 3 reb 2 ast in college, on a team on which he didn't even start, that this would be controversial? Now he has this pressure and magnifying glass on his game that he wouldn't have had if he had stayed in college

THE ONLY reason he's getting this criticism is because he got drafted into the NBA. 1) coming off a heart scare. 2) Averaging 5 pts 3 ast 2 reb on a losing team on which he didn't start and people know that no other player would've gotten drafted from those circumstances but his father forced the issue. Bronny would've been more respected coming in as an undrafted free agent or staying in college and improving his game to the point where he became a legitimate top prospect sought after by multiple organizations. Now he's forced to grow up before he needed too and he's under a magnifying glass because of the way he entered the league

Lebron James Jr. , also known as Bronny was driving a Lamborghini when he was 16 to high school, its hard for a teen like that be hungry to make it in the NBA, this is a feel good story , thats not feeling so good right now. I just hope that this doesn't drive him to alcoholism or drugs, he's going to have something to ease the pain of this reality.

I actually had the opportunity to watch Alex Sarr at OTE and attend some private workouts. I don't know what he will become, but I know for a fact that he's significantly better right now than Bronny will [likely] ever be. ESPN has done such a terrible job of promoting potential stars of this league, repeatedly propping up this mediocre player simply because he is LeBron's son. I have never in my life seen mediocrity propped up so much in my three-plus decades of watching sports.

Hear that Lakers fans, he's gonna have a looooooooong career. He's "flashed" defensively, but also done bad defensively. If that makes sense. Oh and here is his shot chart. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoxxxxxxxxxxxxo a lot of hugs, not many kisses. At this point I feel bad for him and everyone else watching. He was clearly not ready and then the contract signing makes it that much worse. I feel the best thing to have done. Was have him go Undrafted and then keep him with the G-League and be quiet about him.. Leave him alone and let him develop at his own pace.. then if he can make it, cool.. If not, that's okay too. But they wouldn't have had to make it a circus. I honestly hate to have to say anything bad about the young man. The media gives us literally no choice but to be critical. Because all they wanna do is blow constant smoke.. just at least stop blowing him up and constantly meat riding him in the media..
