However, Forestella sang this song as an homage for Lara Fabian's version. It notes in the lyrics with terms in feminine form (orpheline, heureuse). But Serge Lama posted his praises about this stage on his official SNS. (Twitter, IG, FB). Forestella released their Korean version of this song in their 3rd album: the Forestella. 눈물 속에 홀로 (Alone in Tears) has lyrics in Korean. Even the words in the lyrics were changed a lot from the original Je suis malade, you can feel the deep emotions and vibes of the original in it if you try to listen. One of the members of Forestella (Bae DooHoon) contributed to writing some lyrics in Korean as well.

One of the most heart wrenching songs I’ve ever heard, and they completely portray every aspect of that emotion to perfection, including their pronunciation. Lara Fabian also covers this song, which is how I first learned about it, Lara is the queen of emotional portrayal so I was a little concerned about whether a group could portray sufficient emotion, oh yeah, they definitely can, and did. Yes indeed they are wonderful! Best interpreters and harmony makers ever! I would like to suggest “Spread Silk on my heart”, and “Time in a bottle” next. Very beautiful! Or “For life”, and “Save our lives”, which are their own originals. Also, you would really enjoy listening to Lara Fabian” singing “Je suis malade”; she is the one who made this song famous, and she is one of the best female singers ever! Try to pick the version that has English subtitles. Happy listening!

Truly magnificent Reaction to a truly Magnificent performance. For me (a WooRim fan), Bae Doo-Hoon broke my heart on this performance. Perhaps avoid Hua Chenyu's "Dad I'm home" (about Domestic Abuse)..if you do, you NEED English subtitles and live performance, not slideshow. Hua Chenyu's "I am what I am" and "Fake Monk" are superb performances. He does angst so well... even cracking his voice to add to the emotion.
