Hello Nice to see you on my channel😀. I know some Germans use them in their tanks dried but ive never used them, I also asked my wife because she has a masters degree in horticulture and she did her paper on figs, she said they were also fine. 👍

I am looking forward to seeing the new Shrimp Room. It would be a hope of mine that you bring it back online with the videos, but that might not be feasible as I do not know your particulars. That would be great for me anyway, I hope you realize that you are an important part of so many followers experience in his hobby. I had a Crystal Red Tank that I loved as there is something about the colors I really enjoy but it was not thriving etc. I finally set up an akadama tank, with ten CRS remaing and one died in the transfer or shortly after and I used a matten filter which seems to pull what I will call silt through to the pump side shich makes it easy to clean out, but my point is with all of the tricks or methods such as using akadama and the leaves and woods and a dish etc after 4 years I have a thriving colony that looks something like one of your closeups on the close up camera and I just love it. THere must be over 100 now and for me that is amhuge improvement. I would never have gotten here without your channel and probably would have given up. I also have a caradina tank but I did not realize that if you mix them the color will all wash out eventually. I am also noticing that caradina are half the size of Softwater shrimp and I am not sure if that is just the Rilis or if it happens when they mix etc. Still so much to learn. I am not one to cull so that does not work for me. I only have two shrimp tanks so I was going to move them all to a nano fish tank where they could enjoy a larger tank and start up another soft water species only tank with akadama again. maybe tigers or such. I will now wait to see if I can watch one of your videos and mimick the set up ormfollow along if you will. I so look forward to seeing the new digs. I hope that the move does not stress you and you also that you bring us along for that journey. Awesome that you are doing well and able to do this. Congratulations.....

I torn that down years ago, the wall grew well but it filled up with duckweed so I just removed it.
