Great reaction. X Steve Miller is an under appreciated band.

I grew up with Steve Miller and this came out when I was a young adult and I remember not liking it as much as their earlier stuff. Partly because at that time it wasn't real happy with the way the latest technology synthesizers and so forth were being used or misused in pop music. But, listening to it now after all these years, I love it! And I never had any idea of the Diana Ross connection. That's pretty cool.

This is a quite different than most of Steve Miller's songs. He's a great guitarist, who'll make it sound like it whistles at the girl in a song, for example. This is the first song I heard from him, so I like it, but I like New Wave.
