Quite interested with your analyzation about his growls. But, I personally think the opposite. His growl is the original sound he has, and that was the reason why the judges found his voice weird on the Indonesian Idol audition which made him rejected before he even finished half of the song. The smoothness and other techniques are something he learnt later, I guess. The growls has always been his main singing identity, but the other techniques are something we hear just recently from him. I don't understand music at all. But I love listening to good singers no matter who they are and where they're from. If they're good, then they're good. Maybe you should listen to his very first single 'Harus Berpisah' and compare it to his most recent performances like Writings on the wall or Take me to Church. By the way, I am a fan of both of you. You guys are not only awesome as person, but also have strong knowledge in music. Thank you for doing this reaction.

The correct way to pronounce his name is by stressing the C like in the word Chaplin. He is a good singer. Must also check out his cover of Take me to church, writings on the wall and his duet performance with Judika is awesome. See you on Wednesday is a program own by the Roommate project.
