Logitech might have a real winner here at the budget tier of gaming headsets with the G435. They might look like something you find in the toy section, but they might be the ideal gift for the little gamer in your life. You might want to buy a separate microphone, though.

    Hey could you guys start adding frequency response graphs in? Because they really tell you alot about the sound

  • @xmlthegreat

    @xmlthegreat

    2 жыл бұрын

    They tell you a lot but not enough. E.g. I have a pair of Sony XB-900F or whatever, the bassy wireless earbuds. If you compare those to the KZ ZST IEMs that I have on RTings, the frequency response graph says the Sony has more bass response, but the KZs just have much clearer bass parts where you can hear each frequency properly, and distinguish instruments really well in that zone. Frequency response charts are just one metric. The only way you know a pair of earbuds is for you is if they sound good to you.

    @@xmlthegreat very true! But still really needed in a headphone video I recon. Like when he said the highs in the raindrops weren't really there, but the headphones sounded really detailed. The detail is in the high end is it not? That just confused me. Would've had a better understanding of the sound if they added a frequency response graphs in my opinion.

    WTH MAN JUST 24 hours ago I was literally searching if Logitech had released a successor to the G433 and BOOM!! Just a day later you guys post a video about it. I mean is this telepathy or something? Like 1.5 years after buying my last headphones I browse for a new one and just a day later Logitech listens to me and announces a new pair. I honestly can't explain how amazed I am, and probably sound crazy by writing all this. Even just 24 hours ago, during my search, I didn't find a single mention of a G435 anywhere and was thinking quite a lot about how much I would love to have a G435 if it's reasonably featured and price, and releases within a few months, not knowing it would be way less than that :-). This is just phenomenal and I find it difficult to stop writing about...!

    I bought a set of USB-wired Logitech G635s for $80-90 and I'm very happy with them. The microphone is very good, though the same can't be said for the Bluetooth G635s. The USB G635s also sound very good compared to other headsets I've had, which admittedly have all been of the "budget" variety, and the virtual 7.1 surround can completely change a gaming experience in a positive way when supported well. Finally, they'll fit on at least 95% of people's heads comfortably; the ear cushions are even large enough to support up to 1 inch gauge piercings, which was a vital selling point for me.

    for anyone reading, this headset is very good for like vr, and the battery is totally decent, you can go like max volume for like 6 hours on vrc and +11 with mid volume, it's not uncomfortable at all and very hard to brake, it feels cheap but only because it's all made out of plastic making it super light, and the audio quality is also very good for any kind of game , not for any kind of music, specially more bass demanding styles. This is my personal experience, I have this headset for over 3 months and I've had more then 20 different headset, this won't take the crown but I really think they're worth the value for like vr or like, apex (that I also play a lot)

I've had multiple Razer mice develop mis-clicks in unreasonable windows of use. You miiight, maybe, find slightly better quality in more expensive mice to mitigate these issues (in terms of final QC and quality of the product). i got the same headset from amazon that was on sale for aroudn 30 dollars, and bought it, sounds better then my airpods which i spent about 150 dollars on, and is overall a very good headset and the only complaint is the lack of adjustability for the head

    Nothing seems all that appealing to these headphones aside from the fact it has Bluetooth. If you want good headphones for not too much, get a second hand pair of audiophile headphones such as the HD598 or DT 770 Pros. They sound better, last longer, look better and have far better build quality, while not running you that much more second hand. And reusing an old pair of headphones is more environmentally friendly then buying 22% recycled ones 10 times out of 10.

    Good DAC is required to get full potential. And going wireless is a whole another level.

    @@vadnegru I can run both my HD598s and DT770 Pros with/without dac and as long as you don’t want to blow your eardrums out, and you’re not an audio snob, you’ll be fine with most PCs aux ports. I have AirPods Max and I like Bluetooth headphones as much as any other guy; but you know what helps a lot more then bluetooth? Having significantly wider soundstage, better sound quality, longer longevity and superior build quality.

    @@setsuna1778 Do you sacrafice that much going Bluetooth? Most of gaming headsets have their own dongles and sound is way better than over BT.

    @@vadnegru Oh I think there’s a misunderstanding, I just don’t think the only positive (being the wireless capability) of this specific headset over any other in its price range justifies the price. I love me some wireless gaming gear, but what I don’t like are extremely overpriced and underperforming wireless gaming gear for the price.

    When I say Bluetooth I refer to wireless computer accessories as a whole, dongle or not.

    I have the same problem with the mic glitch on my baracuda x but only when I put the dongle behind something.
