Yep I had the same issue with baby no. 2 I was in agony with the pain, was a really tough time. After we fixed the latch and nipples healed the pain subsided.

You should see a lactation consultant! My baby was the same way and at 6 months we found out he had a lip and tongue tie! This whole time we just thought he has bad relfux 😭😭😭 We needed up getting it laserd off. I never experienced pain with my 1st or all of these problems .

I'll recommend you the freestyle Mandela breast pump is the best gentle,and you can cook and clean at the same time while you pump the only think I'll recommend you is to use a 8oz bottle instead of the little ones to prevent the milk from falling out from rough movements

I had the same latching problem too it was so painful 😭😭

My daughter was like this. She couldn’t quite latch to me or any bottle too well and she wanted to eat every 15 mins. I pumped for the first two or three months. I was traveling and lost one of the parts to the pump so I tried having her latch and it was successful!

Question. What do you do when you have sore nipples and below your armpit has uncomfortable pain? Some odd reason my daughter wasn’t latching on correctly (first time) and all of sudden my right nipple was in pain and it’s hurts to the touch. Then probably in an hour later above my eighth breast and below my armpit has this weird pain. There’s no lumps on my breast, I didn’t get chills but I felt cold last night.... just not sure what to do ?

This is exactly what happened to me when I was breastfeeding my son. My nipples was so sore and bleeding and I was crying to death because of the pain.

I got the same problem with both my kids. No nipple cream could do it for me. I cried every day 😭. But it got better before I knew it, it took me a month or so. During the growth spurt, I got it so bad that I felt like she was constantly ripping my nipple apart. It will get better LV, hang in there 😊. My baby girl does not take any bottle 😅

I admired you so much I was determined to breastfeed for a whole year and I did it! just like before it will get better just hang in there💪 and have patience👶 try to apply some nipple cream it will help a lot!!!

Check for her tongue and lip ties! I had this issue with my second born. The pain was excruciating! Hang in there mama!

Her pediatrician checked already, no tongue tie. So glad we fixed her latch tho. All good now! 😌

@@hausofcolor so glad to hear that!(: I've had a few friends who had the same issues and the pediatrician said the same thing .. they went to get a 2and opinion and found out they did have it. My 2nd wr just found out at 6 months that he had a bad lip tie and a tongue tie 😭

I have 2 kids. My nipples hurted for a week with both kids. It will get better!

I would check for ties. She might’ve not been getting milk, which is why she kept trying to drink hourly and also why you had so much milk while pumping. Shallow latch usually indicates a tongue tie.

I have a question, if you pump and feed the baby using bottle instead of letting him suck on your breasts, how often and how much do you feed a 1 month old then?

My second made my nipples feel as if they were ripping off. Turns out she had a tongue tie.

try drink alot of water , lactation cookies and Fenugreek tablet it will increaa the supply

@houseofcolor I am not sure if you are aware that girls drink more milk than boys. My son was alot nice on the booties when feeding than my daughter. I then researched and became aware of the difference between boys and girls when they feed. All will be well soon.

I try breastfeeding my 3 kids and fail to be honest it was too painful for me so I decided to pump and that help me alot it was hard work because you have to pump every 2 to 3 hours no matter what even at midnight or 2am you have to pump for at least 20 minutes and you will have a bank full of milk enough for your husband to feed as well lol

Pandita Bebe I exclusively pumped with my first and had a stash so large we bought a deep freezer to store all the milk lol. With my second I exclusively nursed him and planning to do the same with this baby 😁
