Because the car weighs 6k lbs, start telling people how much power it makes and they're gonna want to take it to the track. Not a good idea with something that heavy. Also not really safe for the teenagers in their Honda Civic first cars just tryna get to work meanwhile Sharon here thinks she's a racer with this over powered, over weight, and under safety concerned electric tank. I believe that cars with over 450 HP should be sold like a racecar with less assistance because people end up relying on the assistance and don't understand how a car of that power level and weight actually handles when the assistance can't do anything for you anymore. Like say in a total traction loss slide, plus then the cars going to try and correct itself while you're trying to correct it and it's gonna make everything worse. Which leads to crashes, sure not having the assistance will lead to crashes but that's just a sign that you need to drive better or drive slower cars.

I actually know how lithium batteries are made . They're impossible to recycle, and extremely fragile. It's easy to total, a crash at any speed compromises the batteries integrity and once they start thermal runaway, you can't put them out . They burn at 3,000-4,500 degrees Fahrenheit. I couldn't sleep knowing something like that is in my garage connected to my power grid. Keep it. More for you.

I don’t know your needs, but I’ve driven my S long range from Sea-SD- FL three times and was glad to get out and stretch and other things to charge. Superchargers are plentiful and working. Look for new Superchargers all the time and enjoy a little variety . Not for everyone like some bladder busters.

It’s not an issue, they have UV protection and tint. You don’t get hot. You simply get the benefit of more sun in your cabin which brightens it up

Come to Canada, minus 30 degrees these things lose 30 to 40 percent power overnight. Lack of ground clearance for snow. Ill stick to my unique Honda Element with lots of interior space including all seats reclining fully flat to make a camper bed. Store bicycles standing up. Breaks more necks at car meets too.

One thing you forgot Forrest, it can drive itself! Super efficient review as always Forrest! 300k miles in the model 3 with 0 maintenance! My saab is my weekend car but the tesla as a daily is unparalleled value. Especially now that used teslas are so cheap.

@futuristic_car_channelI’ve had small things, but nothing that affected the driving of the car. Just tires. I get the Lexanis (both summer and all season) from Amazon for my 18” wheels and they’re only 80$ a pop! If you care to know I’ve also seen about 20% degradation. Original range was just over 300. Now I’m around 240. But more than enough for daily driving. My 0-60 is still in the mid 3’s too!

did you say "costing only 87,000$" this is why people say the rich are out of touch. 87k for a car is ludicrous. a civic cost 30k. 57k is a lifetime of gas and lets be real. they both burn fossil fuel in the end so your not saving anything in the end.

Teslas are literally the easiest cars to use. It literally has 1 gear and the only thing you have to do is swipe a screen to go.

@@Crunchy0They’re obviously not talking about making the thing move. It’s just unnecessary things like A/C controls and that kind of thing. Buttons are easier to memorize and press while driving than a screen and buttons are extremely simple electrically so when they go wrong, it’s cheap to fix unlike a touch screen that requires software to run.

@@UProductions457 That’s true but it’s not just Tesla that does that. And it isn’t that hard to press 1 button to get to the AC screen. Touch screens aren’t that expensive as they were and fairly reliable.

@@Crunchy0 They may be reliable new, but I would be very surprised if Tesla and other companies still made software for their screens in 20 years. I think the touch screen looks cleaner than a bunch of buttons, but you don't have to be a software engineer to fix buttons when they stop working.
