I don't understand people that flame baus for feeding, when the whole reason I watch baus and no one else is because I love how he can win games despite feeding. He just has such a unique playstyle, and I hope he never stops doing it.

As for me, I watch baus cause he has near perfect mastery of a clunky and inconsistent champion.

Dude averages 10.0 cs a minute being dead half of lane phase… truly a beast

Exactly, he's trading a bad KDA for destroying multiple turrets/inhibs, stealing enemy jungle, pushing minions to keep enemy top lane behind in CS, staying even in games despite him having a failing lane, tanking most of the enemy abilities/aggro in team fights even whilst behind etc. Though tbf some deaths are worth less than others so it can very a lot game to game even with the same KDA. I'm also inexperienced as far as league goes but it's obvious to see he's creating value for his team, just because his stats don't look amazing to show for it.

Sion is the one champ that you really shouldn’t be worried about kDa on. He can still clear waves, give pressure, and get kills in his death passive.

Only if u cs like he does... he dies because he wants every cs, because each cs gives him scaling with W passive His later gets super fed early, but he also doesn't fall much further behind and ends up outscaling eventually... because he gets something from his deaths

I think the haters are attacking him because some of his fans are justifying playing like him when they just can’t. I mean, Baus is a great player, but his fans aren’t, and when you try to play Sion the way he does and just ints nonstop without doing good macro, the people will definitely go after the person who pioneered it because a lot of people try things their idols do in games thinking it works all the time

If you actually take in consideration what he is saying, it really makes a lot of sense. League has become more of an overall stat game instead of the individualistic kinda game it once was.

Everything and I mean everything even if your doing well is your fault as a jg, if a laner is doing bad jg fault for not helping them, if a turret gets destroyed cause a laner is out of lane jg fault. We get blamed for everything at some point. I know this well as a jg main.

yes there is a reason sion got changed. its not because baus climbed in korea. its because everyone who watched him went into a ranked game first picking sion and rushing hullbreaker and running down a sidelane inting until one of the nexus exploded. it was absolutely degenerate for everyone in the game who had to deal with this. sion should have get 50% gold/xp while in passive to de-incentivize inting more thin they already did since its still too common

@@islixxn yes, thats why that strat got nerfed: bc it was a degenerate play style thats easy and effective. If you look at what the nerfed was directed to it was taking towers with the passive, to prevent bad players from just running it down and taking towers

believe there's validity to both sides. yes, baus is creating pressure via endless pushing, farming enemy camps, attracting enemy jungler attention and still going even/ahead in terms of tower progress, all the while being the ticking time bomb via W passive. however, the negative kda his strategy entails is abnormal, creates direct pressure to teammates when his fed laning opponent/jungler roam, and indirect pressure to teammates via discouraging kill count. when your solo que strategy REQUIRES cooperation and trust from teammates while causing knee jerk reaction, that is a problem, irrespective of the resulting win rate.

Baus has some of the craziest macro, he doesnt play mechanical intense champs like irelia, but hes a genius.

People tend to value flashy outplays and champion mechanics more than game knowledge and good macro because outplays show immediate results of skill whereas good macro pays off later in the game which is where sion’s scaling thrives.

people really under estimate the value of a pressure sponge. No lie, I love having a good yorick/sion on my team just constantly destroying sidelanes. It makes it so much easier to win macro wise when all you have to do is just delay the fight for the main objective and wait to see how many people rotate to the split push. Guess its too hard for solo queue environment to understand though.
