What if you want to follow god but your stuck in drug addiction...Why doesn't God just take away the cravings. I been trying to get better for years without success and I taught God would just take away the cravings.

As a whole the word brought was seasonal for me the one part that really stuck out was the conflict of calling. I find myself in that very situation and In regards to the many heads statement (which I find hilariously truthful) I have been called to so many things but I've always struggled to do what I know God has been calling me to be. It's hard because alot of who I am and what I've done so far has to be put aside so I can be that. Thanks ps Steve and elevation church for this timely truth.

i’m watching this a whole year later and it is EXACTLY what i needed... i’m sixteen and i have a burning passion to be gods light through music and singing. I have no words just tears, Satan must know that whatever God is about to do is going to be so powerful because he won’t leave me alone!!! 😭 He’s broken me down and made me feel like I was wrong, made me doubt my calling, made me feel so weak in my faith... but God has the upper hand!! 🙏🏽❤️ I will stay in my place and just listen.

I went through the same thing when God called me to celibacy with him and when he called me to be an Irish Dancer. I was under attack for months, with nightmares, and waking up with panic attacks and a voice in my head that wouldn’t leave me alone, and sometimes it still does. All I could do was cling onto Jesus for dear life. God used that time in my life to build endurance in my faith, and He still is. God brings all things for good, and no matter how you suffer, God is using it for a greater purpose. Even though there will always be suffering, God will walk through the fire with us. May God be with you, and bless you! ☺️

I'm not sure if this counts but maybe. I have a disability that keeps me out of work and driving. During the past 3 years I have noticed the absolute Beauty of of Creation that my wife is to busy to see. I have seen amazing sunset's summer Thunder storms plants that I used to pass by with out a thought. Just recently I used to dislike all snow but I saw this Sparkling or Scintillating as I said snow that caught the light just right to sparkle! Very Beautiful Creation is. I'm thinking that God may be trying to say something to just me as my wife scoffs at the snow. Maybe God is Whispering to just me in these moments that I notice. God bless everyone who reads this. Amen

I say this in a loving and most respectful way : Steven please be careful in choosing your words during your sermon, please take caution in using foul or slang words. I enjoy and learn so much from you and I am the least to judge anyone, this doesn't come from a place of casting stones or casting judegment but from a place of love for correction, that me and my young 3 children watch your sermons on youtube and if the tv is on, my little ones are hearing your words, not this sermon but one that came on after you used a word I wouldn't agree is okay or would be in the bible (what would Jesus do or say) but I say this with upmost respect and love for the younger generations that look up to you and for yours and your families sake and sadly others that may think its okay to talk as the world talks. Please pray and take this comment to heart, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you and show you. I myself am still praying for help in this area as a mom too. I love you as a brother in the Lord Jesus and I pray for the whole church and the entire world to take into careful consideration and account for what we all say 🙏❤ You are awesome your words are powerful you are chosen and highly favored and I am so happy for the work you are doing for the Lord and the work Jesus is doing in us all. @@dustymar4341 if sin is preached all the day long is it possible that we're delving into legalism??? That's what grace is for. Surely most sincere believers have studied to some extent the sinful nature of man and the need to extinguish it from our lives. How often should the preacher expound upon this particular subject matter when there are so many other matters of the faith to be taught?? Sin was dealt with on the cross. I accept the grace of God to deal with my personal sin. If the preacher and the ministry that's entrusted to him are bearing good fruit, surely God will inform him that he and the congregation need to confront sin that has crept into the camp.

On Saturday I wrote on a piece of paper "My calling is..." and put it up on my wall and told myself God will fill in the rest. This morning as I woke up and read the words a still voice finished the sentence and said 'God'. And now I just finished listening to this sermon and I'm amazed at how good God is. Father I shall listen. Praise God.

I'm a 25 year old who is still in college, and I have not made great decisions up to this point in my life. Without my father, I wouldn't have the opportunity to still be in school and "make something" of myself. The quote "If you're not dead, God's not done" really impacted me today. I often feel extremely unfulfilled, and have no idea what God has called me to do. Recently, I have been crying out my heart to God and allowing Him to change me into a new creature. I just hope that the new creature is something that would make God, as well as my family, proud.

I haven't been since my stepfather died and i always would say im never going back because if it wasn't my stepfather church i wouldn't go and i never did and I've never asked god for forgiveness but i realized that i am the church and no matter what god knows where my heart is but i have a son who loves god at the age of 6 years old and i want him to experience gods word at church also i have been having this heavy cold like feeling that comes over me when i pray when i talk about god to people i know he is calling on me i know he wants me to Speak and help people understand he loves them and no matter what You're going through remember he is there all you halft to do is pray to him

Thank you for this song. I am a human traffic survivor. I can tell you there is a God. He reached out to me and miraculously saved me from a captor in a foreign country. He made a way. I blindly followed him in the night and made it home safely with 3 children in tote. I praise God everyday for seeing me worthy. Thank you Jesus for being my only friend during that time.

God has been speaking to me my whole life and I couldn’t figure out if it was Him. My biggest question was how can I still pursue the purpose I believe I was called to when I was 8 years old and be a mom and a wife as well. Answer: availability. I went to Bible college and was a youth pastor in my earlier years. I left the church I was serving to finish college. I have not been in full time ministry since then. The dream of being a pastor and leading a church has never died. Been working in the secular work place for nearly 13 years now because I wanted to make good money to provide for my family. I really want to be a pastor!

I'm reaching out in faith. I'm really struggling with my faith in God. I've had a really bad year. My husband ( who I thought and believed was my best friend) had a love affair and is addicted to heroin. I feel so alone. He was my companion. Now I don't trust anything. I'm so broken that I turned away from God. I'm scared that he is not who I thought he was either. I'm confused and lost. I feel like all is lost. If you read this far please pray for me. Princess Thompson, I'm so sorry that you have had to go through this heartache. Saturate yourself in Gods Love for you. Read and reread the book of John. Jesus will NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU. The devil will lie to you and tell you that you cant trust God, but you can.

I will pray for you Megan & although I can "understand" the feeling of losing everything u have ever known & feeling lost the one thing that I know we always have is God. You put much faith & companion in another human being & because you too are human it's hurtful but let us never compare God to man!!! That is where you will always feel lost, its when mere humans let us down all is never lost, God is the healer or ALL things! ❤ 🙏🏽 I'm going through some things RN that make me just not want to care about anything at all anymore but one thing I can't do is lose faith. I accidentally came across one of your videos towards the end of last year, I don’t even remember how but I haven’t looked back. I’ve always struggled to sleep at night, I’m a late sleeper and since last year every time I feel troubled and cannot sleep I watch your videos, which is almost every night. I feel blessed every single time. God how you break down the Bible leaves me in tears because I realized I didn’t know the Bible and because I couldn’t interprete it the way you do, I haven’t finished 1 single Bible reading plan. So from your scriptures I’d read the whole chapter and then continue with the video. What happened last night, I decided to read from 1 Samuel chapters 1 until chapter 18, I got encouraged by your interpretation that I just couldn’t put it down. Your teachings are the reason I am a Sunday school teacher this year and guess what, it’s something I wouldn’t do previously because I thought i didn’t know how, I wasn’t patient enough with my own kids and when I saw your video on the parable about the farmer’s seed, I knew God was speaking to me through you to give me the confidence to do it even though I didn’t know how! Stay blessed, I love you. You are God sent to me

Yes, he is a really good teacher. But yes, PLEASE stay in the Bible and read it daily because certainly God speaks to us through His Word and His Word will never contradict his will for your life. Sometimes, just because we hear something over and over doesn't necessarily mean it is God, so please make sure what you hear lines up with the Bible, then it'll be difficult for you to go astray or be confused about His will for your life. Many blessings to you and your humble heart of love for our Father God.

I love watching your services! I thank God for using you as a vessel to help me in my life. Everytime I see a sermon lately it’s exactly what I need to hear from God!

I have a very hard time believing in (a) God but I don't ever knock people who do or what their faith is because whatever has them doing right in life is enough (for me). For many years I've stayed away from religion and God because it's all hard to believe. Before 15 years old, the only time I remember going to church was for holidays or special occasions. Feeling like a hypocrite, I stopped altogether. I always said the bible is just a really good book and that it's been translated so many times so it's also hard to believe. 5 people can read the same scripture and each person can interpret that passage differently. All that being said: last night I was scrolling through my KZread feed and this man, Steven Furtich, came up. I clicked on the video because I thought it was Drake (rapper) battling a pastor or something. Needless to say, I ended up listening to his sermon for more than 5 minutes. Today, I find myself searching for him as I sit in the Target parking lot. I don't necessarily believe but I try to stay open to "signs" as I want to believe. We'll see what happens. ✌🏼

I can tell you there is a God. I went to church and the preacher spoke to me. She said exactly what had happened to me. I won't get into that but she spoke word for word what had happened. She said that the Lord wants her to pray for me. So I can say only God and me knew it. I will pray for you to grow in faith.

@@Sofrito1 we are all brothers and sisters in this life traveling through a world. I want everyone to know the truth. I can tell you this. My daughter lived in a singlewide trailer that had been built on to a L shaped with a bedroom off the back. She had 2 sons they were 2 and 3 years old. The 3 year old told her mama a man came into the room tonight and told me not to sleep here. She allowed him to sleep on the couch. The man who came before returned this time he had a gold pocket watch. He told my grandson in 5 minutes this trailer is going to catch fire. When the time was up he dropped the toybox down. It awoke my daughter. She ran to the room. Opening the door the fire became worse. Oxygen feeds a fire. She got down on her hands and knees crawling in. There was 2 men over the back of her. They were protecting her from the heat above. As she crawled in the linoleum had caught fire it burned her knee a golf ball size burn. She was the hero that night. Later my grandson told her this story when he was 7. Because the man with the gold pocket watch. Said 7 was a special number. He said Mama the man left a message for you. Tell Amber I loved her very much. To the rest of the world I was called Donnie but to her I was called Papa. My grandson saw his picture on the refrigerator. He said momma that is the man I saw he has a lot younger face but he has wings as tall as the ceiling.
