I totally agree! He’s clueless in the automotive field, he gets everything wrong, he provides a good deal for people buying NIO cars but a bad deal for shareholders. Is there anything he previously promised he was confident about that actually was delivered successfully. Not to my knowledge.

He is a visionary with real practical understanding. He is building an infrastructure that matters more than anything else. I have been 100% EV for nearly 6 years ago with my EV 8 years ago. I have done more than 200000 miles on EV and the single most important thing is cheap, abundant, quick charging. The car is less important. Although majority of drives never need it, the EVs ability to go anywhere whenever quickly cheaply is the single most important thing. If he was trying to make cars cheaper and not investing on battery swapping, I would pull out my 1000 shares asap.

A lot of people still think EV are still in early days. It is not. We already know the top 2 EV makers are BYD and Tesla, and whichever at Number 2 is already in shaky position. There is no space for being number 3. Is NIO in number 3 position? I doubt.

BYD and Tesla has been around for long time. Of cos they are the two giga-ev for now. 3rd most EV sold by the end of 2023 i would have to say Xpeng. Look good and affordable than Nio.
