i am in my 30s and what i have realized is, you dont stop learning in life. so there is no pressure for you, elliot, to feel this way. it is natural. life is a grind!

Dude I remember watching the video of you moving into that apartment and feeling the energy of it. I just moved into a new apartment at the same time you did and felt the same way as you. Crazy to see you moving out and saying this year was at a standstill because mine was too. I'm the same age as you and moved to a new apartment recently, hope this year is our come up. Good to see you back.

I usually never comment anywhere, but I just wanted to tell you how much I can relate to what you are saying! I am 23, basically finished w/ college but I am really not sure I can just go on pursing the typical job I should end up with. It feels good to know other people feel the same way :) We are all gonna figure it out

Flying to New York tomorrow morning, will be there for a week. I hope I run into you to tell you how much your videos make me reflect on myself, to always better myself. There is always going to be down time, and you don't need to dwell on it too much. The past is in the past, and you just move forward, as its the only thing you can change.

I moved away from New York in 2014 after getting laid off. I am now much older and frankly going through the same thing as you Elliott, being okay with figuring things out and not being so hard on myself. Thanks for allowing me to re-experience New York while being away.

Hey Elliot, I know everyone is saying this but, I'm glad you took the much needed break for your health and wellness. I went through a similar phase this year which I'm finally coming out of now with a little more confidence. You are a huge inspiration to me! Please never stop creating and doing your thing. 🙏

As you grow older, you realize that you will organically part ways with some people who no longer align to your value and beliefs, while growing closer to others and forming new relationships. As someone in their 30's, you've always impressed me with your maturity and intellect, and I draw inspirations from the things you share in your videos. I'm glad you're back on KZread and just know that your content is more than just "for-entertainment-only" / funny / click-bait content. You reach your audience in a much deeper and meaningful way. Progress is not always linear, so continue to focus on the identity that you envision for yourself.

literally spoke what was in my head, into beautifully edited media. I also took a break from everything, then travelled and really figured who I am. I did have that thought of "why has there been no physical progress" / "okay, but what did I accomplish this year" but needing to remind myself that I chose to take a break and a step back. It doesn't matter if I "wasted time" because only I know how much that "doing nothing", was a progression in itself.

Maybe these are all just universal experiences that everyone has at some point, but I feel I can especially relate to you're journey Elliot and so I just want to say thankyou for sharing all your life over the last few years with me and helping me understand myself better through you experiences!

The 8 min passed so fast that is how much we wanted him back.

I think it’s incredibly unfortunate what happened last year, and that the previous few videos made it seem that he was really struggling with himself and with making the videos. ​@cristinamarie97 not just from this one video. He is such a gifted storyteller, but even before the creator house split, hes been struggling with getting a message out. The conflict between friends only exasperated things, climaxing in him filiming himself sulking in the rain 😂. This culminated in this latest brooding version of Elliot before disappearing, a few silent vlogs that always began with him vacuuming his apartment. Now hes back, but the only way he will be able to be consistent this time in posting and in his storytelling is if/when he finally comes out.
