Beste Leontine, wat moet het geweldig zijn om zo’n talent te bezitten!! Ik kijk met veel plezier naar je video’s, al zal ik zelf nooit zo’n kunstwerk kunnen maken. Toch leer ik veel over blenden, lagen bouwen, kleurkeuzes, enz voor mijn véél simpelere kleurplaten. Ik kijk dan ook uit naar je volgende tutorials!!!

Amazing tutorial. When you paint a piece like this, which CarbOthello pastel pencil set would you recommend - set of 36, 48 or 60? Thanks
Great work as always Leontine. Do you find the soft pastel pencils easier to blend than the Polychromos? Also do you have to seal the final piece with some fixative in order to ensure the chalk pastels stay in place?

Thank you! Polychromos are not blendable(except when using solvents). Pastels can be blended very easily because the medium is just pressed pigment, so they are 2 completely different mediums. I don't use any fixatives as the pastelmat holds the pastel very well on its own:)
eerst en vooral weer geweldig als altijd! maar hoe maak je je punten zo scherp, ik gebruik een mesje maar dat is zo onhandig :D

This has nothing to do with your artwork, which is amazing. But what type of pencil sharpener do you use for the polychromos pencils? I just purchased some. Thank you
Could you later do a video on how to highlight fur? Thanks
When you use pastel pencils, What is the texture? I bought some but they feel like chalk! (Is that what they are supposed to feel like?) many artists say that you can draw highlighted fur better but when I tried to layer the pastel I couldn’t see anything.

They definitely feel chalky! The paper makes all the difference. I'd suggest pastelmat if you haven't tried it yet as you only get these results on pastelmat. It takes a while to get used to it:)
