As a 47 year old woman watching Vlogs…I’m just looking for authenticity. I wanna see what brings others joy! So when you talked about foreigners filming stuff in Japan that’s just everyday for you…show us the aspects of Japan that spark joy in you. If it’s cleaning your apartment while singing that’s cool…we’re here for you! I think that’s what so many of the young girl vloggers miss…they’re always trying to “create” moments and that’s how it feels staged. Always chasing aesthetic stuff, that’s fine in a still shot. But it misses the mark on film. Just give us you and your unique experience as a Caribbean girl living in Japan for almost two decades! Love you girly! Glad to see you back. 🥰

Can I just say, you can vlog your life in Japan…not your visit…your life…so what it looks like to go to the grocery, what prices look like, what parking looks like, what neighborhood houses look like, what the roads look like…etc… it gives those of us on this side of the world a look into that side. Are there stop signs, street lights, etc… I noticed that a lot of the signage was in English in the mall and I was shocked by that, not to mention the black model as I would’ve thought the models would be Japanese dressed like westerners so that they could see how the clothing fits them. It’s always us folk that has to be concerned with junk in the truck😂 so it was interesting to see us being used as a model in that market.

So much to experience and see...this world that GOD created is TRULY magnificent in its glory! Also thanks to the Samurai's that blessed the trails, in their time. The watermills, the view at the top, altitude, soba noodles..I hope..I spelled that correctly...the other vlog, with the noodles in the water, and you grabbing them with your chopsticks! Just AMAZING INDEED! Stay safe, healthy, motivated, happy, and fulfilled always my Gorgeous Sistren. Thank you hun I’m glad you enjoyed it 💕
About 4 minutes, in the car & in the red T shirt, the makeup, especially the eye makeup, is just perfect.
I haven't finished the video yet, but you made that soba look so good I had to go and look it up! Apparently they're made from buckwheat flour, so they're gluten free and great for lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Who knew?! Thank you for sharing your view of Japan with us. As much as you're trying to find your groove with vlogging, you're my FAVORITE vlogger and I look forward to watching your content. It is SO good to have you back. ❤️
I absolutely adore @Savannah Sylver! Her personality, humour literally everything about her is just so refreshing and relatable. I just love seeing another side to her and it's not taken for granted that she is opening up and sharing her personal life❤ Now let me go binge watch these videos 😊
Welcome back! Thank you for sharing the beautiful country you live in the view looks breathtaking. Makeup on both days was 🔥. Just know whatever video you post we will be tuned in.

Yesssss! I love when you and hubby go out together ❤️ I'm a sweat-er too chileeee. Found a hand held portable fan on Amazon. Its perfect to keep us. Keep us cooled, and its USB charged too
Gurl u know these people trying to get a glimpse of hubby in the reflection.... Its Me ...I'm these people. 😂😂
@ 30:23………… you had me hollering cause that was a straight auntie move that I find myself doing now @ 44. The reapplying of lip stick & body spray out in the great outdoors and the walk off after gathering your purse with you head held high was me, my big sis and my best friends! Oh I love it!
Dont worry yourself, we love the vlogs :-)

When I saw this I jumped on it so quick! I LOVE the simple everyday vlogs bc I’m American and I love seeing the everyday in other countries. And I love watching you bc you are sweet and hilarious. You tell us want to share and keep to your self what you don’t feel comfortable sharing. It’s ok. I know I will still be watching.

OMG 😱 I can't believe how steep that path was! I wouldn't have made it half way up that incline. Kudos to you!
Your personality is everything 🩷

I love you Sumi 😂 they way you told your husband he doesn’t know about the Soba noodles had me on the floor 🤣 you are truly a light🤣
As a longtime vlog watcher I love your style of vlogging. I watch people in different countries because it makes me feel like I am living in different countries that I might visit one day❤Simple vlog style is good.
Hey sumi.... Soooooo......I was unemployed for 2 years, deeeeewp depression, started exercising at home, started taking care of myself and feel good about life now. I'm preparing for winter here in South Africa 🇿🇦. Love your vlogs girl. Could you do a tutorial of your nails too? It's beautiful. Love you girl....🎉
I don’t know how I missed the notification but life has been lifing. Please keep vlogging. You’ve sparked an interest in me to learn more about Japan and it’s nice to learn about from an every day perspective instead of just tourist stuff.
This video was perfect. I enjoyed every bit of it. And loved seeing everything you showed us. Love seeing the countryside. Can't wait to see the city side. And I would do the same thing regarding the wigs!! And all the time, God is good. Amen

Glad you are back. Also adding your husband. Love to hear the two if you laughing. Also laughing that he planned and gave you no information
Soba noodles are made with super healthy Buckwheat flour. They take a longtime to cook but are gluten-free and high protein. I learned to make them this year when I started craving shrimp tempura. Having Tempura with Soba or Udon noodles is a whole meal 🥘 Thanks for sharing your day with us👍🏽
I’ve missed these! Such a joy to see you again in a vlog! Thank-you Savannah!

4:07 I think you think we want Japanese vlogs, which would be nice lol but we want you vlogs. Things you like to do on the regular. Cleaning, eating, hair, maintenance type things. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Lifestyle, everyday. It might be repetitive but that’s what we all do and can all relate to. We enjoy you being lost lol we be lost too. It’s okay girl. I missed y’all too💕
Hi! I suggest you create a list of what you've seen others show in Japan and do something similar but give your take on it. You're the first black woman I've seen to make Japan their home and you show how beautiful a place can be with a partner who supports you.

Savvvvvyyyyy boo We miss you mama ❤💐
Ty for this vlog ❤
Maybe you should do some vlogs according to exactly what visitors get excited about! Many of us aren’t coming to Japan anytime soon or at all (I am coming in January 2025!) so many want to see the country through your perspective! Don’t be so hard on yourself and pace everything to your comfort level! We love seeing you and kinda sorta seeing hubby (we see that beard king!) so we will support you no matter what!! Also check out BooHoo they have so much cute clothing and affordable!! ❤❤
I think you can still film from your perspective. I understand what you're saying though. You can always draw inspo from other vloggers!

Love your blogs
I love all of your videos. You are in Japan. A lot of us have never been there. Just to see the view out of your window is amazing. What I am trying to say is that it doesn't matter what you vlog. Your everyday routine is filled with so much Japanese culture. From what you drink and eat to the type of Japanese skin care you use. I am in awe of it all. Just do what is natural to you. I love it all. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Im in hysterics Sis lol you're too funny I was hoping for your vlogs to start again ❤
