Hi Alicia! I'm so glad you're back. I am going into year 11 this year and was wondering how you got into medicine at usyd after your undergrad degree? Medicine is one of the things I am considering and would love to know xx

she got a 99.95 and then got accepted to the bachelor of science and master of medicine (i can’t remember the exact name) program i believe

hey Lola! that is so exciting to hear you are interested in studying medicine. The degree itself is called Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine. The entry requirements are pretty rigorous in terms of having to have a 99.95 ATAR equivalent and complete a written assessment/interview etc. However, in Australia there are many other routes including direct undergraduate entry, which take into consideration UCAT, ATAR and interviews. Hope that helps!
