I'm back in the woods. We continue to work on the 1.8 km forest road. It is nice to return to the forest 😀 You can see a little bit again how I level the sand and gravel. The sand layer is 30 cm, the gravel layer is 20 cm. The whole activity takes place at the end of the 1st kilometer. Then there are still 800 meters left to fill. This means that the road will be ready soon 💪 Enjoy watching ☕🥤🍺

if it rains or snows that road on a bed of sand becomes mud. the substrates are made with crushed rocks, then a stabilizing and draining carpet roll is laid, then gravel and then either soil or asphalt is placed,

Do you not need the ditches anymore? It looks like they are being filled in when the top soil is being spread on the sides of the road.

Thank you for another great video. When you showed the 30 cm graphic it made me wonder. Do you get survey information for the height of the loose sand, or is that 30 cm meant to be after compacting the sand? Thanks again.

@@TomTalley Yes we already know. We place + 5cm above the required height. But there is a variety of sand, there has been that need to put more cm present.
Where did get those red sands at ? They soft and smooth

У нас экскаваторщики, вправо влево ковшом профилируют. И не надо кататься взад вперед.

Пока я ехал туда и обратно, я уже уплотнял песок. Да и с высотой песка проблем нет. Так все происходит быстрее. У каждого свои методы

Прочитал в немецком журнале ( Fokus или Spiegel точно не помню) что деньги выделяемые на строительство дорог ЕС в Латвии разворовывают .1 км дороги не республиканского значения стоит столько как 1 км немецкого двухполосного автобана.
