Congratulations!! It’s so good to see your starting to post videos again. Go at your own pace and do what your comfortable with it can be hard getting back to a “ normal” routine after having a baby. Here in Prince Edward Island, Canada we have just received a cumulative 150 cm, (60 inches) of snow in the past 4 weeks. You are a smart mama deciding to protect your daughter’s privacy online! God will give you wisdom throughout your motherhood journey, just know you are the best mom for her. I have a 5 and a 2.5 year old and I still don’t know what I’m doing haha. It really is a wild and blessed journey!

Congrats Emma! You have made such a mature and respectful decision. My kids are 5 and 3 and keeping them off the Internet/social media has been one of our best decisions as parents. Trust your mom gut!

I'm a 2nd grade teacher and will be getting married this June. My fiancé and I have talked about when we want to have kids. In this stage of my life I can't imagine not being in the classroom. It's my heart and passion, and I just spent so long earning my masters degree this past December. But I don't know how I'll feel about it when we have kids. I'm torn between the idea of being home with my kids, but not wanting to waste all the time and effort I put into becoming a teacher. I would love to hear your insight on being both a mom and a teacher and what that life looks like once you live it for a little while.

Welcome back. Please don't say you aren't good at motherhood. You have less than two months at the task. Your little girl is warm, fed, clothed, and loved so that means you are good at motherhood. Right now as a newborn, those are her basic needs. You and she will learn together what she needs as time goes on. Motherhood isn't something you know it's a process that lasts a lifetime. I love her name. I hope to see monthly photos of her as she grows. I respect the decision to not have her on video. Just a photo update as we saw her grow before she was born.
