Emily, I have had six surgeries in my life (though not SRS). I have learned the hard way that there is a fine balance between “not doing enough: and “doing too much” during recovery. I hope that you find that balance. I will be praying for you!

I haven't watched you for a while.Your face has changed a bit and your hair is longer you look good.I'm happy for you that you got your surgery.The big thing in my life is the gender changed on my drivers license.

I send you my best wishes from my hospital bed. I had GCS (SRS) on monday and it went well. Todays surgeons offer elaborated pain treatment, so don‘t be afraid. There will be some pain, maybe, but it should not be a big deal. Ask immediately for help then and you will get medication. I was nervous before, too, a strange cocktail of looking forward, relief and fear. I think that‘s normal.

I went through GCS about 7 months ago. For me the hardest part was the stress leading up to my surgery date, and it was such a relief and weight off my shoulders walking into the operating room.

I say upload all the content raw as soon as you can. It will be easier and it will be more real for us. More informational for us who are wanting the surgery down the road (like myself) glad to hear you’re back :) you were one of the first people I found on here that helped inspired me to take action on my dysphoria. I hope your surgery goes well and the pain is totally manageable ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Emily , Wow , it is so great to hear from you , and super wow , in 5 days your dream is yours , so happy for you . I can only imagine the emotions , that you must be feeling , all normal :) . So glad you have Julianna to help you and be with you. Only 4 days in the hospital , that is GR8 , so you will be home recovering over Christmas , so happy for you both. You have gone through so much , I am truly happy and excited for you and Julianna . Of course all my prayers and thoughts are yours next Tues. It will be fine , and no general anesthesia = no intubation , super GR8. I know you will be nervous , it is only natural , but just look to the new year that will bring a new Emily and a new life. O__ as far as making videos , yes one per hour please !! LOL , Only when you are up to it , please take all the time you need for you. You have waited so long , please enjoy the moment with your loved ones. Video when you can and personally anything how ever it is best for you .
