Are his mid air shots better ? I see a lot of aalto players do that. And I don't get when the multi shotgun bullets come out, I thought you have to run through the mist?

​@@nimrod98no, u have to shot through the mist so ur every bullet will get 2 additional bullets with 50% power. Besides, if ur target is taunted by ur copy u will get +15% atk. There s more😁 S6 Aalto is very powerful

Lol I hear that a lot...and it's because his kit is very different from all of the other characters. I had to really do some research on youtube and on Google to figure out how to use him lol. Unfortunately, all of the resources we're building him as a support. I loved him so much I was like, "wait...why NOT make him a main dps??" 🤔 😄

@@jigglemybooba S0 is still very good! My Aalto was S0 and I had gave him Jiyan's echoes...i was like...oh shit...this is actually pretty good damage...so I decided to start building him as a dps. At C0 he was able to beat bosses just about the same as my jiyan. Different playstyles, but definitely doable.

it's a double edged sword sometimes. when you want to actualy parry to break shield faster...it's hard to land the parry when they attack elsewhere. But being able to deal damage with the gun attacks while it's fighting the clone is also a good thing 😆

Another side comment I like to make: I hope Aalto mains would rise and joining local WuWa torunaments because you sir are Ooozing with style and finnesse that I want to try Aalto out

@@onidan7 Yes it totally reminded me of UMVC3 DEADPOOL! It's like the exact same voice line 😅 I wonder if it was a nod to him. haha Also, I wish they came out with a new Marvel Vs Capcom game. That was the best! I think that's why I really gravitated towards this game. I loved the MVC games and the intro/outros totally feel like character switching in MVC!

Also, I honestly liked Aalto because he gave me huge Sampo from HSR energy and Sampo is such a funny goober, but after doing the story quest, I've decided I'm gonna build him just to pair him with Encore because those two deserve their own spin-off game/show

Honestly just impressed with ENG VA of Aalto. Truly embodies his personality

Thank you! It can deal a lot of damage if he's used properly, relying soley on the mist missles means slower dps, gotta jump shoot like crazy in between sending out the mist missles :)

Aalto's gameplay is SO FUN! Everyone should try it! Also his EN VA did an amazing job, I love how cool and energetic he is

I was about to ask, since I wanted to build him for main DPS instead of being stuck to Jiyan. He's fun, has an interesting design and character to boot so far. The only I didn't like was trying to break past 1k damage with normal attacks outside of skill.

@DaPlatinumTrim it's possible! With a proper rotation, my Aalto can do 5k-6k each shot in rapid mid-air attacks. With c3, shooting through a mist create 2 more additional shots at 2500 - 3000 each.

I never tought I'd see someone main the living concept of an absent father. He definetly seems fun, specially being the only (current) pistol character that can use airshots reliably.

@@Sira- He can airshot as well, however I havent built him enough to see if the damage is just as good. They might have different Mid Air attack damage %. However, at Aalto S3, he has more benefit from airshooting through the mists since it splits the bullets into 3 bullets.

Aalto's unique kit and gameplay are the same reason I main Jianxin. Currently, I have them both in a team with Yangyang/Sanhua. Since I don't have Verina yet but using Baizhi as a temp.

I started leveling Jianxin as my support for my second team...I'm wondering if I should instead to dps with her. I'm still unfamiliar with her kit tho 😅

@@CVGTigz I tried to build her as DPS, but since she's not actually a dedicated DPS she won't hit big damage numbers like others since her only constant source of damage is her basic and special heavy but even her heavy needs time to set it up so you'd mostly be doing basic attacks 80% of a fight while popping off Es and Rs here and there. But to compensate for that downtime that's what her counter/shield mechanics are for making her last longer, good for added survivability in bossing and fight that last for more than 5mins. Build wise, what I'm trying to do with her is make her a hybrid DPS/Support since I like mixing in parry/counter playstyle which she excels at. That kinda helps bump up her DPS potential in a way. Only have her at S0 but so far she's been doing good, I plan to get her sequences up in the future if I get lucky to get dupes since I'm currently thinking her S6 is juicy with the 500% damage from her parry skill. So that might her a nuke skill. Plus I love her tankiness and her shields that scale with DEF. She's my top best tank/shield res next to Taoqi. Try to invest in her if you like a parry/counter gameplay so can have the best mix of team with 1 dedicated DPS, 1 tank, 1 healer, Hoping they release more characters like Jianxin in the future.

I read Aalto's kit and was left scratching my head but at least now i have a visual representation of it to look at lol

I use reso skill when activating his reso lib then mid air / normal attack then dash. So satisfying upon seeing those mist bullets go wild

Yes I agree, being able to build really good 4 stars gives you an opportunity to save wishes for other future characters. I used all my wishes on this banner just to get Aalto...and now that i have him I don't need to wish anymore until the next 5* gun user...or if a really good support character for him comes out.

I managed to win the 50/50 to get Yinlin and I ended up getting taoqi R6, a few Yuanwu copies and 3 Aalto ones, but I need to adjust some units so I wont waste some xp and echoes and recover my asterites (rn currently I forgot the pity pull banner for the normal 5 star and I wanted Encore since shes easy to use and combo friendly, luckily Im almost 10 pity which idm to get her).

I've heard people use yinlin...in curious how that works. I've just been using Sanhua because she buffs his basic attack when I need to make mists when his skill is on cooldown, and she is able to parry. I might try Yinlin. I've also heard some people use Aalto, Chixia, and Verina

The thing about Kuro games. They literally make chars with different attack kits that even a basic 4 star character can be OP as long as you gear them right and you know how to play them. Good job btw. That's why the BS "power creep" doesn't really exist in Kuro games. Also coz they rebalance old characters so they can still be usable in future contents. :3

That also depends on how you see it. In pgr content is clearable as long as you do it correctly with a decently formee team even without meta. It's just that pain cage and warzone exists so some people are really desperate for meta, even though you really only need to clear it and not get a high score but some people have outrageous standards to be top 5% lol

Nah, every character being viable doesn't mean there's no 'powercreep' 😂 there's a huge difference with that. Powercreep means if one character is considered the best at doing something, then they release a new character that does the exact same thing but is better or does similar but MORE (like how in HSR, we went from harmony characters solely buffing damage to also dealing it themselves- Bronya vs. Robin, Bronya vs. Sparkle). Or in genshin, Hu Tao who needs to sacrifice health to do big damage vs. Arlecchino who doesn't need to sacrifice anything but still deal insane damage. Now, does that mean I can't use my E1 Bronya? Nope, in some teams or situations I might need Bronya but most of the time I would choose Sparkle cause she can do the same thing and MORE. A character being viable and not being absolute trash doesn't mean powercreep doesn't exist. Heck, we already have a great example now look at Yangyang vs. Jiyan. Despite the difference in their main role (support vs. main dps) their main strength is crowd control, now don't lie to my face and say that if you only need ONE team and can only choose one cc character, you'll choose Yangyang over Jiyan. 😂 Jiyan is the best choice for grouping enemies while simultaneously being a main dps meaning you'll have faster and easier clears. Now, does that mean Yangyang is trash? No, she's still viable but again, she's not the best and first choice. We also have an upcoming fusion with Changli. As of now, Encore is the best dps according to CN- even outdamaging Jiyan with a signature by a little bit. With Changli coming to the game soon, there's a possibility she'll replace Encore as the best pick for fusion teams. Anyways, it's still too early to tell. Honestly, I've been seeing a LOT people talking about the same thing you said, with the absolute trust in Kuro. My advice is, DON'T. PGR is an old game now and don't let yourself have this bias. I also agree with the comment before me, THERE IS powercreep. Characters being viable doesn't mean there aren't new characters that can do better than them- that is powercreep. I think you just don't properly understand what it means.

Best way is to normal attack to get mist, either normal attack or jump attack through it...once you have full bar, hit his skill and dash through it so you shoot out 12 mists

I start with echo, burst, skill and dash through with a full forte circuit bar. You need to be in mist form long enough to use up all of the bar for all 6 mist shots

you can swap cancel his sprint too, very useful as he waste too much time in mist mode

I like bullets can't parry in wuwa, which makes more sense unlike in pgr. But I do think the gunners should have some kind of movesets that can parry like kicks in their attack. (In pgr you have gunners like Wanshi, who does swift kicks and elbows despite being a sniper) it will help increase more usage rate for these gunner char in wuwa. More gunner mains⚔️🔥

Thank you! We'll the great thing is they can share echos. If you feel like dps Jiyan, give Aalto Moonlit for regen, if you want to go dps Aalto you can give him Jiyan's echos. Lol that's what I do. But you'll need to level his talents. His S3 is also very good to have since it really outputs more damage!.

Exactly! Very underrated. I think people that rate him D tier never really fully built him and use his kit for full potential. Like they don't even do jump shots and rely solely on his dash skills and basic attack combo. I hope you have fun building him! I also recommend Sanhua and Verina, they're his best supports in my opinion. When you get both their outros one after the other....it totally increases his damage like crazy. 😁

@@CVGTigz The issue comes from his multipliers. There well, plenty of characters out there that can perform dps role with less effort. Though, his playstyle is quite fun. He might shine alot if we have an attack speed buffing support.

@Smoky3214 if I learned anything from Genshin, is that when more characters, weapons, echoes get released...it'll totally change how many teams work and how many characters perform. Once rated terrible characters will suddenly become OP. My boy Thoma was somewhat useless for a while until Burgeon became his time to shine.

Maybe there is a reason for it I'm not grasping bc I don't know Aalto's rotations, but why not use jump attack with Verina when her Photosynthesis gauge (forte circuit) is full? It regens concerto energy VERY fast compared to just basic attacks

When it comes to that boss I don't like to jump attack much with furina because I keep dying. his attacks are so fast and she only has 1 dodge in the air. I can jump attack with Aalto because he can shoot from further away.

Thank you! Tbh when I first got Sanhua...I tried her and didn't like her. I thought that it was hard to stare at her forte gauge during combat cuz u would keep getting hit. But after a while I started getting used to her and the timing, and she's so fun to play! I love how time stops when you hard attack! 😆

i noticed something about when u switched in to verina, u do know u can spam forte circuit by atking midair to fully clear up the gauge right? it can also speed up the concerto er and u can spam more intro skills. saw u go full ba4 when at full gauge + not rushed by boss/clones. other than that, nice work.

If going for dps then c6 definitely will help with damage. Although the charge attack is useless, the extra crit rate is helpful so his jump attacks crit more. His c3 I think is his best one.

Ah so in WuWa, the bosses aren't immune to Baron Bunny.

Sanhua is best sub DPS for gunners since they most of the time use normal attack from her outro.

I am not sure if the mid air attacks count as basic attacks, but it is listed in the Basic attack section so I assume it does? But regardless, it does buff his normal attack combo which is used to generate a mist and mist drops. In my combo I start with my echo for the damage boost, then do his burst, then do his normal attack for a mist, do his skill, and jump attack as much as I can through the mist, hopefully maxing my forte meter so I can dash through the mist to release more mist bullets. If my echo and burst aren't ready I just start with normal attack to create the mist.

@@NovaOrNeo Yea i normally grapple into the air to do higher jump shots so I can shoot more shots...but a lot of the Holograms can kill you if you're in the air too long. 😅

@@RuiNDieM1988 I dunno with this boss for some reason, the times I decide to jump attack with furina, he has like 2 or 3 copies all at me at once and I dodge once and have no more dodges for the other two. 😅😅😫😫😭😭 So i just play it safe with the bosses that can one shot me. LOL. But like...thank god for that turtle bell echo thing.

Im an aalto main but in the open world only, my weapon is the 5 star gun in level 70 and my artifact is kinda cracked. But i keep him in level 40 with all level 1 tallent so the enemy in the overworld doesnt die so quickly 😂

lol! Level his talents and level him! it just takes a couple days to use wave plates on resonance exp...and then focus on the ascend materials...and then focus on the talent materials. It might take some time...but if you like him and want to main him, you prioritize building him before the other characters. My verina has literally nothing leveled except her weapon. I just put a 5 piece rejuvenating glow on her. She's literally just there to quick swap for buff. 😆😆

2 good things about shooting through the mist: 1. bullets shot through mist increases mist drops for his mist bullets. Jump/mid-air shooting is much faster than his basic attack combo so it replenishes mistdrops and deals more dmg. 2. When you get S3, his bullets split into 3 bullets when you shoot through the mist...which is even more damage. 😁

Been using Alto and Chixia. Can ammo dump with Chixia through Alto gate or taunt with Alto then ammo dump for free.

Yes it is! What i did was fucus as much on Aalto, the other 2 Moonlit clouds on Sanhua and Rejuvinatiny Glow on Verina. Basically just give those 2 as much energy regen as you can so that they can build their concerto energy as fast as they can to buff Aalto. I don't even have any of Sanhua or Verina's Echos leveled except the ones that main Stat energy recharge. 😅

you could use other echoes like Cyan heron because he's a gunner which cannot parry . heron also gives him more dps or whiff waff to be able to basic attack and still dealing damage the feilian beringal buff heavy attack which is wasted on aalto also its take too long to trigger it which mean losing dps and skill time

​@@CVGTigz I believe most people rate characters based on their opinion, potential meta, and basically a lot of other things, but they forgot to include "experience and mastery". What's sad is how a lot of players tend to follow this kind of idea way too easily, especially when they're at the level of the "I'm following the meta and you don't, so you suck, that character is trash" kind of player.

Most meta players are always backseat gaming like they got the best build in the world and have a "mine are better than yours " mentality. They're always like why don't you do this, or why aren't you using this weapon, or why this team...Like fuck, because I want to and the character looks hot AF that's why! 😂 What I love about the game is it is def skill based and you can clear all of the content with ANYONE as long as you build them right and know how to use them as well as the game mechanics. Like first of all, this isn't pvp, good for you if you can beat the boss faster, you want like a prize or something?? 😂😂😂 The huge amount of zero fucks I care what the hell they're doing and can do.

​@@CVGTigz I honestly don't understand why they're being lazy and considering themself to be efficient when all they did is not completely learn but almost completely "follow". It's funny that upon following the meta, they have an immense ego boost and think they're on top of a non-existent leaderboard. Even if a leaderboard exists, they most likely use the same strategy as others. I appreciate the open-minded and chill ones which I call "meta players", as they're the kind of players that are most likely to be the ones that will make a new meta, they have the knowledge, creativity, experience, and mastery to do so unlike what I usually call the "meta slaves" that only follows the meta like sheep, belittling other players for how they want to play the game. Sure, giving suggestions and recommendations is fine, but not forcing. It's basically I have my account and you have yours, if you want to help me, I appreciate it, but it's not a help if you just want to put yourself higher based on my choice.

I'm jelly! I didnt get a beta code. 😫😭. Dang yes u the OG! haha I actually didnt main Aalto at first. I had Jiyan right away and paired him with Mortefi. Once I got Aalto randomly from a ten pull on Jiyan's banner...I totally fell in love with this gameplay. And then I did the story, and was like ok I like this guy...I'm gonna main him. I looked him up on youtube for some builds and everyone was saying he was D-Tier and not great...I was like, I don't care Imma do it anyway. 😆

Wow that's one fat aalto... Though, his number and scaling is on the abysmal side. [His multipliers is one of the worst I had ever seen out of many characters. Via: auto attacks] He does do respectable dmg with his combo. By the way you can swap while he is dashing and he will leave a trail of his invisible self throwing those 6 mist missles at the enemy.

Yea, unfortunately you def gotta max out as much as you can with him in order to deal damage. I have him R6'd and maxed his talents and have 70something crite rate and 230ish crit dmg. One thing I love about the game is that the devs designed it so that you can main anyone and clear all the content because it is a skill based game. If you can dodge, parry, counter attack, and of course build your characters right, anyone can be a main dps and clear all the content. Oh thanks, yes I already know that about him, but when I fight the higher leveled Holograms, I try not to switch too often, which usually gets me killed. Also, since Aalto's damage is not like HUGE numbers, I usually wait until the Concerto energy is full as fast as possible so I can do outro/intro to break the shield faster...and I am usually waiting for the right time to switch...so sometimes I can do it mid dash...sometimes I cant. 😅

Thank you! Lol I pulled on Yinlin's banner just so I could S6 him. I ended up with 2 copies of yinlin and a lost 50/50 to Jianxin to get him S6. Was it worth it? Maybe not to most, but to me I'm happy 😆. Plus I don't have to wish anymore until a 5 star gun user comes out 😁

@@CVGTigz yeah the lasers are annoying specially since THE HITBOX LINGERS EVEN AFTER THE LASER DISSAPPEARS, but the real pain was when he shoots his 3 barrage of missiles, with Aalto's double taking the agro, it becomes nearly Impossible to dodge them. I beat him today tho, took a lot of hours but now I rest

Youre cool af. Prefer fights where you get hit or die, rather than no hit runs. Its more gritty and realistic. Your moves were slick af. I def was considering alto. I accidentally got jiyan but i find his gameplay very boring

@@dennisl9176 it would be great if he could be invulnerable while in mist form...but unfortunately since you can still get hit (and 1 shot in mist form) sometimes it's necessary to dodge put of the most form or swap characters to do a parry. 😅

@@dennisl9176 I've heard that gun users cannot parry (and I've never been able to) but having a character that can parry on your team is very helpful. You just have to time your swaps so that they're on the field before the circle appears, or switch when the concerto energy is full, the incoming character will parry just the same as if they were on the field.

He has fun kit but unfortunately difficult to play in mobile phone. I fine it especially difficult to do jump combo on mobile device. Till I could afford a good PC, he would only be exploring buddy for now....

lol no worries! You just gotta get better echoes, maybe a better gun, and good supports to buff his damage. Also, couple extra sequence nodes wouldn't hurt...but I had Aalto at S0 for the longest time and was able to deal a lot of damage - pretty close to how much my Jiyan would do. You can do it!

Yesssss! 4 stars can be just as good as 5 stars with the right investment in them. My Aalto does more damage than my Jiyan 😅...but like my Jiyan isn't built as good as my aalto.

Why R5 the weapon when it’s a support weapon?

To make them an amazing support? If you're running a character as support, and you are giving them a energy regeb weapon or one that has a passive that increases concerto energy, you want to have as much energy regen as possible so that you can do their outro to buff your main dps as fast as possible. Stacking to R5 increases those numbers. However, I am running my Aalto as a main DPS and NOT a support, I have an undying flame for DPS....but I found I like having higher crit rate with Static mist. Hope that answers your question! 😁

@jikookietings2507 I'm confused, My Static Mist isn't R5. I just noticed I put R6 on my title; I meant S6 as in his constellations or whatever they're called. Also, if I were to R5 his weapon I actually would. I know the main stats don't increase...but I'm using the static 1. for the crit rate, and 2. for the 12.8 increase in Energy Regen (which does increase with refinements) For me to play aalto as a main dps, I need him to gain his energy as fast as possible so I can do an outro/intro to deplete a boss's shield. Character intro/outros are the best way to deplete their shields since Aaltos attacks don't break the shields much. Hope that made more sense lol. It works in my head at least 😅.

Withering Wave's version of Genshin's Constellations are called Sequence Nodes. Some people refer to it as R6 or S6...but yea basically having 6 of those "constellations" or "C6"

He's bad because people said he's bad without building him fully and using him properly. Not one single build of him that I've found of him online showed a dps playstyle. Also, none ever mention doing mid-air attacks to deal more damage. I think most of the people that did tier lists, only used his basic attack combo to create a mist to get mist bullets and solely relied on that damage. His basic attack is too slow to be using just that. Yes, his damage multipliers are crap, but he can still output some good damage. Right now, my Aalto does about the same if not a but more than my Jiayan does, and I have Jiyan' signature weapon.

Not showing the stats/build making you big as hell.

Ok so like, you try beating it with an AALTO. The whole purpose of this video is to show how good Aalto can be. People say he's D tier and that his damage is crappy, so obviously those same people would think the he CANT kill the holograms. Even at the same level you can still get 1 shot without the bell echo, and let alone be able deal enough damage to beat it withing the time limit. Also, my aalto is lvl 70, sanhua 60, and verina 50. 🤣
