I just found a Merfolk card I've never heard of before. It's called Merrow Commerce. It's 1 generic and 1 blue for a Tribal Merfolk Enchantment. At the end of your turn, untap each Merfolk you control. That seems kind of powerful

If you want more interactions, maybe you could try Izzet Merfolk and play Lightning Bolt and Red Elemental Blast.

Have you considered running snow covered Islands, So your images can be removal spells in the icefang matches. Seems like not a big cost for some possible upside

Yes, I used to play with Snow Covered Islands. The cost is that I will play with ugly lands. Technically it is probably best to play the snow lands if you're running Image. I've also heard the argument to split our basics half snow and half regular to play around Predict from our opponent targeting us.

In that last game, I think Dismembering the Kaldra germ token would've been the better play. Hindsight is 20/20, but I'm not sure if they run any ways of cheating Kaldra's equip cost

Well, I wanted to use my mana while it was open. But letting the Kaldra get in play can be problematic because it can get blinked by Flickerwisp or Yorion. Or Stoneforge can put more equipment after that. I think baiting the D&T player to put Kaldra in play is a bit better when they don't have Vial and I know I will put a lot of pressure on them.

Is there a reason you kept 62 cards at 52:30 ?

it would make combodecks so much more consistent so you would have to play way mor anti combo cards

@@dasfabelwesen just imagine tron getting an extra look for the lands, or crazy all in combo decks being able to dig for an even better opening 7, if anything most magic players don't mulligan enough as you should always be looking for powerful hands if your deck is built to leverage turn 1 plays. imagine if red prison got extra looks at turn on threeball it would be miserable and subract from important skills in nonblue decks.
