Ha ha, well, just to titillate I can give you a little gossip. Bruz used to live a couple suburbs away. And I say used to because his wife got the house in the divorce. And through my building manager, who as part of the local Italian diaspora is related to his brother’s wife, she informed me that his ex wife also got a suburban shopping centre in the divorce (Bruz got very very rich AFTER getting into politics…. Coincidence…?). Apparently the ex is a lovely lady, and the entire family (including some of Bruz’s) were encouraging her to get divorced because of his decades long philandering ways. He now has a similar position in his family as does Pluto in the Solar system!

On an unrelated note, I also have had issues with a potentially cracked out, unmedicated mad man trying to kill me for 3 solid months because I wouldn't let him scam me... He was living underneath me in a unit complex and would constantly and consistently try to get other people to do shit for him to remove the attention from himself and he flipped his absolute fucking shit when I moved out and got away. You have people whom care for and support you, and you're an absolute asset to those of us in the lowest points of our lives. Keep doing what you and and your team are doing mate!

In the US, moving from a state with unions to a "Right to Work" state solidified how important a union is for the common person. These companies are able to do their workers (almost literally) because there's nothing to stop them. One place I worked for literally told us in orientation that "you will be immediately terminated if caught discussing unionizing AND, should a union ever come into existence, the parent company will just close up shop and move."... How absolutely insane is that? If you discuss having any kind of representation, or obtain representation, you're not going to have the job anyway. Coming from an automotive union that actively worked to ensure the best working conditions possible, that was absolutely bonkers to hear.

Hope you can talk about everything one day, I can only imagine what's been going on behind the scenes. These assholes can really make life hard for people and the law protects them most of the time. Have been watching for years, love your coverage. There is corruption everywhere so covering a specific area still helps people understand what kind of things are happening in other places too. Sounds like someone needs to investigate what the Salem Oregon Fire Department are doing about missing cats? Or is Missing cats a Police Department responsibility and only rescuing cats is on the Fire Department? Obviously we want to keep sleep happy rangers at Animal Control out of this.

I'm going to do the most unaustralian thing ever and pass up an opertunity to lean into how dangerous our wildlife is. Our spiders are like quicksand. The level of danger they present to the everyday tourist has been a bit overhyped. Don't get me wrong everything here has the potential to be deadly. But like deadly is slang for cool here. Come to Australia. You'll have a deadly time.
