As a young women who is currently going back and forth with my significant other about bill splits, this type of ideology is what I should have subscribed to because why am I having to hear the man I was with for almost 10 years and someone who I have my first and only child by complaint about having to pay most of the bills when I’m already busting my behind trying to provide my half. NO! See if I had this type of attitude life would have been more of a breeze for me. AT THIS POINT I condone women like this because at least they’re not signing up for a life of struggle. As beautiful as that sounds, "love" is not a deposit. Maybe a motivation for someone to get shit done... possibly. But a tangible object that actually functions logically in society, absolutely not. That feels extremely juvenile, as the last time I thought like that, I was one. As an older, married woman now, our "love" plays zero factors when we're sitting down at this table paying bills every month.

i would say thts such a good idea but the podcast we have now i would NOT want my children watching. especially these “alpha male” podcast. like wtf. and these young boys are watching these podcast and looking for male guidance due to the absences of male guidance in their households. you can imagine the outcome of tht. blindly watching these podcast and no one telling them this is what you’re NOT supposed to do

There’s NOTHING wrong with not wanting a broke man. Broke men come with insecurities, they’re inadequate in every aspect except maybe sex, they are miserable because they can’t provide, they’re also resentful. Leave broke men alone if you want to keep your sanity. I also think men should leave women alone that are not self sufficient without them. A dependent liability for a woman is also a turn off.

Wow, people in the 90s really had a problem with women who had respect for themselves and had standards on the type of people they wanted to spend their time with and/or have a physical relationship with. 😔In my opinion, I think that Golddigger is a word used to shame women from having self-respect and standards for themselves, and to shame them from choosing their dating partners based on who can provide a good future for them. of course a healthy relationship is based on a lot of factors, but a good way to tell if you have a decent man on your hands is if he can hold down a good job, or is educated, has career options etc. Wouldn’t you want your daughter to do the same? Like helloooo common sense here people!! 🙄😂 (also I was born in 91 so I can see why I struggled growing up with a very pick me type of mentality. So sad)
