@@Fisinocean Because Erica felt as well as Anneliese they both wanted to do another thing, they wanted to do something else and be somewhere else, Anneliese at first is "we are?" because she did know she is privilege unlike Erica, the beautiful thing about Erica is that she saw beyond the luxury directly at the struggle. If Anneliese was the one to came out with "I'm just like you" it would have come out as entitled.

Technically, They both are slaves in a way. Princess is a slave to her royalty/high status. While She also has other slaves. So yeah

That was a very well done animatic. The emotion could be seen in the faces. The positioning was aesthetically pleasing. And the choreography was interesting. Nice Video!

Instead of a Barbie live action about her boring blonde life or whatever I wish they would make this into a stage musical. I'm not even talking broadway, I mean that would be amazing but considering it being a barbie film people would not go and see it which sucks. But if they just called it "princess and the pauper" and changed the plot a bit and the things that are considered 'childish' or 'outdated' it would be fine. Imagine ya'll, they find similar looking actresses... split stage, 'Free' performed with balcony's built onto a staircase, more songs... more added to the old songs to make them even more spectacular, more plot and character depth... a bit more mature... more Erika and Anneliese having time together... The Julian and Anneliese duet we DESERVE, beautiful costumes, a Julian, Anneliese & Domnick solo, the queen's solo... okay just give everyone a solo. A full on Still/The neva flows but with Anneliese and Preminger. For Wolfie and Serafina maybe little kids/ short people in costumes? a goofy love song between this cat otp would be appreciated. Or maybe they get cut out as a whole but that would be depressing. I mean seriously if SHREK and SPONGEBOB can be on broadway and make great shows, why can't our sister Barbie?

mari the princess is forced into marriage and meets the pauper. They switch since they look alike and the pauper lives like the princess for a bit and the princess lives like the pauper for a bit. They both end up getting married and living happily like they want

this movie is nowhere near just nostalgic. it is unironically, legitimately, seriously one of the best animated movies ever. the music? fantastic. the animation? beautiful. the story and plot? wonderfully executed. this movie and the twelve dancing princesses are still some of my very favorites.
