Neto? Good player. Better fit than Mudryk and Sterling. But... Always the but. But can we move on Mudryk and Sterling? But do we want to move on Madueke? But we have Tyrique George very close to looking first team ready and we have Estevao and Paez joining us a year from now. If we hadn't tied ourselves to Sterling and Mudryk then Neto at the right price would be a great value proposition. But we lacked the patience and bought players that don't really improve us for big enough money that moving them on is just about impossible.

I don't get why we're targeting more right wingers when the left is where we are lightest. We have Noni, Palmer, Estavao and Paez who all play there and all left footed. The left we have Mudryk and Sterling and i'd happily sell Sterling and wouldn't rely on Mudryk every game but would definitely keep him. Why not go for a Kvaratshkelia like PSG are or more aggressive in our pursuit for Nico Williams. I really hope they don't try to flip Paez and Estavao for a profit and give them a couple of seasons minimum trying to integrate them into the first team. We don't need let another De Bruyne, Salah or Musiala get away cheaply.

I believe Spanish release clauses still have to be cashed in by the player, which means they're effectively 50% higher than they look due to taxes the player has to pay on that money. Also, he's on 200k euro a week as is. He'll probably want a sign on fee, he'll probably want a wage bump, and then there's agent money on top. Suppose Neto costs 40 mil, he's still only on 40k a week or so. Bump him to 100-150, that ought to do it. But the real issue here is creating squad space, IMO. We have Madueke, Mudryk, Sterling, Palmer and we'll soon have Estevao, Paez, and Tyrique. And both Palmer and Madueke are actually pretty good, and Mudryk and Sterling are near impossible to move, and both Estevao and Paez look like Hazards in the making. The kind of talents you just do not want to screw up. Tyrique doesn't look half bad either.

@@akachied4166 Hazard is actually 5,8 but the rest are indeed 5,7 or just short of it. Concecao's height isn't really the issue. But he does look a little frail. Height alone doesn't buy you lunch in the Prem but players do need to be able to stay upright to make things work. Remember Salah when he played for us versus when he came back from Roma.

For me,we need a right footed winger and a GOAL SCORER. We have Noni and Palmer to play as LW.

I'm sure they can play on the left but they sure haven't done it a whole lot. As far as right winger and goal scorer, well, that's literally what Palmer is, isn't it? The way I see it, we really just need to get past this season and get to next season so we can see where Estevao takes us. No reason buying a crazy expensive winger and then screw up the development of a potentially Hazard level talent. Bad business and I suspect the Brazilians are going to hold a grudge if we make a Kenedy out of him

I'd take neto over mitoma and definitely adeyemi...whos a werner regen btw. He'd need a really extensive medical. Conceicao is so overrated.
