You’re exactly right! Their life skills were stunted at 15. They never learned the skills to raise a child much less be in a adult relationship. The sad part is that this can probably be traced back to their parent’s lack of skills. We heard the father say that his own father wasn’t there for him growing up so he really had no blueprint in which to follow. Fortunately it’s the 17-year-old young lady who is going to break this generational curse of broken families.

The 17 year-old daughter is the most mature, rational person of the entire trio, effectively proving that some kids turn out okay in spite of their parents and not because of their parents. These parents are toxic. I know they were teens when they had her, so it's understandable that they communicated this way when their daughter was a baby. But there is no excuse for STILL acting like teenagers as grown folks in their 30s.

I love how Karamo called out both parents ill behavior, but more importantly how he handled Dad. You can tell he doesn't get that type of treatment often and I liked the fact that inspite of some resistance and rebuttal you could tell that he was actually listening. I hope he gets his temper in check, and stop being so quick to react in the manner in which he did. I pray everything works out and that this baby is not just a casualty of war between Mom and Dad's constant spats. I lost my oldest son's father recently, and Lord knows I hate it! I loved this young lady. She seems to be truly sweet, humble, and forgiving. The fact that in the beginning she actually called this man “a good man” let’s me know that she has a good heart. He better recognize what a gem he has. If he loves her correctly, she will show him so much compassion and show him such a new distinction of life. She will do the same in this world. I can tell her mom is trying to give her all of that love but she NEEDS it from her father. Daughters have the ability to completely transform their fathers into men. For better or for worse and men have the ability to transform their daughters into beautiful gems that will go out into world and make big things happen. They just have to cherish them. My dad loved me, but he did not cherish me and I truly wish that he did. My husband is now having to show support me emotionally through the stages that my father should have supported me through. It’s okay though because God has connected me with such a good man and I am grateful for that. ❤️

@@dayum_mi I am specifically addressing the fact that when that is said, it always backfires. When women say it, it's to simply bring hurt on the man because of the hurt the men is causing them. In their mind, they have no other way to hurt them than by saying those words. My comment is not excusing his behavior or how long ago a DNA test could have been done.

No way lol there are men who know their children are theirs and will not use that as an excuse to verbally abuse their children and neglect their responsibilities. Only a certain type of man will behave like this and I’m not talking race at all. Integrity compromised & immature individuals are the problem.

Back then, in my past, whenever my estranged father and I get into heated arguments turning PHYSICAL, he would always hurt me just by telling me that either I'm not his daughter or he's not my father or HE should have given me up for adoption or I should go find my "real" father... 💔💔💔 No child (no matter how old they are) should EVER be told such cruel things like that! But going back to this episode, Kiara doesn't deserve to be treated like that. Rashad should've never treated her like that... Hell, he shouldn't have done ANY OF THAT to her. Do you know the REAL REASON WHY kids doubt themselves or give parents anything but respect? It's because of how the parent(s) treats them... Parents need to understand... Well people in general need to understand that how ever you act towards them, they will treat YOU the SAME WAY you treat them... You know the phrase "treat others the way you deserve to be treated?" The words, actions, attitude of one person against the other person is reflected back to them... You respect them, they will respect you back... You treat them poorly, they will treat you poorly back... Actions speak louder than words...

Dude’s who say this level of bs always reveal to everyone around them that they’ve never been unconditionally loved by their parents/caregivers. Some traumas are hard to overcome but with some you get to a point where you decide not to be the trauma, bullying or violence that raised them. I have compassion for all of them. I hope they seek licensed psychotherapy and stick with it to stop these cycles.
