Yeah that's how they search for food. The Nautilus can actually smell and taste with its tentacles and this is how they find food. Nautilus have terrible eyesight, which is unusual for cephalopods. The eye they have functions like a camera obscura
The choice of music was absolute top-notch for this video, love it, thank you so much for making my evening a lot better, my day was kinda rough and this really did help, cheers!
I can't believe you went through all the effort and time making a cool song, and use it as an excuse to show off this cool chambered nautilus you found. Epic

They seem like chill dudes, i bet they can throw good parties.
This is a certified nautilus moment.
This is far too advanced for my mind to comprehend at this period of time
look at this lil prehistoric guy, hes too good
This is the pinnacle of youtube videos, I'm crying over how beautiful this is 😢
I have loved Nautilus ever since i learned about them as a kid. But this song makes me connect with them on another level. Good stuff.
Peak perfection, a gorgeous lad that has defied the odds, a living relic of true beauty.
This is unironiclly now in my top 20 favorite videos ever made. I love this video.

if you want to go real prehistoric, look no further than the ctenophore(comb jelly). THE most ancient animals still alive today, despite what those sponge-loving haters say
Praise Helix!
you made this song??? it's amazing and very fitting!!

I need to elaborate here but your not wrong. Only sea cucumbers have changed a lot over 450 million years but nautilus have not. They even outlived their own descendants the ammonites (ridged fashion forward shells and different body orientation inside the shell) and still remain the same.

For some reason watching this simple yet complex and magnificent creature float around in water is so relaxing and cute. Absolutely gorgeous
5 stars, great video. I was already impressed when I thought you simply matched the vid to existing music, but you composed it too! Love it.
I didn't know I needed this. Thank you for showing us the great ways of the nautilus. I love them too.
What you know, Nautilus have lived for over 200 million years - they do know how to jam to a good beat.
These things look like aliens from another world.. Yet all they wanna do is VIBE
Freaky little thing but he seems pretty chill, so we’re vibing
Ayo, he vibin hard.
This makes me feel happy and at peace. I love these funky little critters, and this track is as lovely as they are!
They’re just so perfect! Top tier creature design right there.
Nautilus are such a cool and unique creature! It's amazing that they've survived for so many millions of years
This is such a vibe Also, for some reason, this nautilus evokes parental feelings in me. I want to give them some food. They're so cute qwq
The music really captures the feeling of adoring the creature, incredibly well done. It matches the nautilus' vibe while also managing to communicate fascination, all without being too overbearing. Seems like it may become a classic after all, as this was a random recommend for me. I'll be sure to share with all my friends.
Groovy music plays wherever the Naghtylus goes. The song has lyrics btw, they're just in frequencies we can't hear.
i keep coming back, this video and this song have such impeccable vibes
I honestly thought these guys were extinct but a few months ago I was shocked to see one alive lol
These are one of my favorites
Crazy how these guys are vibing after millions of years, that’s something!😮
Nautilus after K2 extinction. “They see me floatin’, they hatin’… well something probably does. Sea lookin a little empty.”
They really be out there doing their thing
You know if I ever have a pet nautilus I'd probably give it a glorious warrior name like Gabriel
Look at that beautiful tentacle boy. Just mind in his own business Truly a precious creature
Nature got this design damn near perfect: 500 million years and very little changes.
He is freaky, he is wierd but he got that charm. I love him
This about to go viral

They're such cool animals. It's crazy to think that the ocean was once full of similar animals back during the time of the dinosaurs.
I luv Nautilus and I luv this song. Brings me great joy.
When i first heard about them i thought they were extinct but when i looked into it i was so happy that they're still going strong.
oh wow, this really does making them look majestic as heck. nice
I have been waiting for this video all my life. I luv nautilus so much
this makes me feel like I'm high, tripping, and drunk all at the same time
The music fits perfectly! Such a silly bean
The nautilus is a preistoric creature in a life
love the song and love the nautilus. such funky fresh little guys
Number of war crimes committed by humans: uncountable Number of war crimes committed by nautilus: *0*
Honestly it’s adorable how could people being scared to this such a cute baby
simply unbelievable . it feels like im back in the 80s .... having a date with a nautilus on the beach...... amazing
nice stuff, i really thought this was a 2000's video, it's very frutiger aero, and bonus points for making the song!
As a sea nerd i really didn't know that nautilus(ammonite) lives in our days
Its suprisingly agile Like, with its movements, suprisingly in control
Thank you for blessing us with four minutes of nautilus vibes.
How do nautiluses look like videogame concept art but also make complete sense
Straight Vibin' for 400 million years
I’m happy to see there are real people that share the same love for nautilus that I have
the great comment purge
it basically...just floats , chill and relax

literally just vibin, chillest boi ever
When one build lasts you the entire game.
A living fossil. Cephalopods like this ruled the world millions of years ago, before more effective swimming animals became the norm in the oceans. Like how balloons were outcompeted by airplanes...
I love this video sm! They’re constantly grooving and chilling and I love that. We should be more like them
theyre so funky
I love how silly these guys are. Wish they were a bit more common for aquarium homes
