Leonid and Friends is probably the most perfect example of musical artists Unity and evidence of dedication and exactness in every facet of every area of production. What an amazing testimony it is that they have to offer, if for nothing else,😅 the compliment that they pay to their efforts and interests in American classic light rock hits perfected and preserved for all posterity.

@@barneshomestead1240 Don't worry about it. Some of us music lovers like to distinguish between a cover band and a tribute band with the former performing other people's songs in their own way and the latter trying to stay as close in feel and tone to the original as a ... well ... tribute to the original performers. L&F are definitely a tribute band and as such one of the finest, if not THE finest example of such. Most of us - me included - realise that the distinction is not widely used - or even known - in the general public and will accept a comment as yours for the generosity shown in it. In some cases a few of us - again me included - will (sometimes) try to explain there is a better term that can be used as i did above, albeit this time in a more extensive form than I would usually do (if at all). The reply you've gotten probably baffled and confused you and made you wonder what you said was so wrong to warrant that level of sarcasm which in my opinion is: nothing. 🙂 It is nothing but an attempt of the writer to make himself feel better than you and display his wit; as far as I'm concerned he failed on both counts without even the courtesy of saying why he was offended. 🤦‍♂

"Blood, Sweat & Tears" !!!

Unbelievable! I sent them a comment advocating that they do this song… a song I know intimately, and they absolutely NAILED it! The song has special significance to me; back in 1968, I was a 17 year old lead guitarist in a high school band. We won top prize in a 50 band competition by performing that song. I hope they consider a couple of other tracks from that same album, “Child is Father to the Man”, by the original BS&T (the only album with Al Kooper)

How many other worlds in this galaxy have creatures with the ability to do this. Where/how did we evolve to have this ability to not just play these songs, but to universally appreciate them. We the people are the miracle of nature.
